Prayer, Bible study, more prayer, until the desire that causes temptation is replaced by something better and more useful.
If we are where the Father wants us to be...then we will have the power to overcome any temptation. But if we think we can go and do whatever we FEEL like doing...we have already succumbed to the temptation to do our own thing. So the subsequent sins are just branches of the tree of self we are continuing to feed from.
