There are many different references throughout the whole book of Revelation to the existence, testimony and endurance of Christians during the tribulation period.

An excellent list of Bible references that totally disprove a rapture removal of Christians to heaven. I have copied and filed it.
Anyone who believes in a rapture, at any time, is deceived and has believed a false teaching.

It's because what they believe does not agree with scripture so there is a need to explain away the truth of what is plainly written. From what I see, people are amil if they have the capacity to lie to themselves.
