You really do believe he used metal tools?
Why not? Did you simply ignore everything I posted about ancient civilizations? Or do you simply wish to consign Noah to the stone age, when Fred Flintstone invented the wheel?

Your presumption of course is that what science has identified as a law can never be in error. With regard we believe by faith that He is never in error... but at times and on certain issues we simply cannot understand Him.

I agree. And yes, science can definately be in error - we have a long history of this, but the reason we can see the past errors is because science is committed to finding out the the truth and uncovering errors

More baloney from the Left Liberal corner.

The Flood was BOTH miraculous and can also be proven by geology. Why don't you read the Genesis Flood By Whitcomb and Morris BEFORE YOU SAY ANOTHER WORD?.

You really are amusing. I can just wind you up and watch you spin!

Be careful not to invest in the things of creation that which belongs to God. It is FAITH which we are told over and over and over and over and over and over (getting through yet?) in Scripture that saves - God deals to every man a measure and then man either acts on it or ignores it.

By faith...not by water. Without faith, we all drown.

I have no idea where you are coming from.

If the flood was miraculous then it cannot be proven by science, as Stranger stated, so why are you guys looking for scientific evodence for it?

I have no problem believing in miracles - my problem is when Christians stand on their heads trying to legitimize miracles with science and try to teach miracles in science classes.

If we are claiming that Noah miraculously built a giant boat that would never survive a world wide flood and carried every type of land animal, including, sloths, rhinos, Siberian tigers, pandas, land insects, amphibians, and bacteria in his boat it is easily explainable if God wanted to work outside the laws of science.

That is a lie. You stated that the flood was fiction. Now you are crawfishing. Now you want to say ok if it was miraculous.

It was miraculous and historical. Everything about it.

If you believe it really occurred and was miraculous you would have said so in the first place. But you denied it as fiction. You're not only a liar but a coward too.

So, did the flood really occur as stated in the Bible...or not?

The Bible says people were "saved by water". The water didn't save anyone, it drowned people.

Therefore, there are a couple of ways to understand "saved by water".

1) The human race was "saved by water" because if God didn't send the Flood, the corrupting influence of the Antediluvians would have swallowed up the last family on Earth loyal to God, leaving no holy lineage through which the Messiah could come.

2) Noah and the fly was "saved by" the threat of "water" which motivated them to trust God by faith in His Word and prepare for the threat.

Now, I don't claim to be a Greek scholar so I could be wrong, but what I do know is the primary Agent of salvation is God and the conduit through which we take hold of the salvation is our faith, both of which are outside of tangible things like boats and water.

Some are so literal, if the Bible stated Noah tied his ass to a 500 lb piece of wood and walked 40 miles, this would have to imply skin is the most elastic substance in the world.

I tried reading it, but only got about 1/4 way. Seems like just a long apologetic on ancient mystery religion Sun worship
He clarifies that at some stage...haven't read it in a long while. He clearly differentiates between astrology and the true origins of the constellations...which when understood are an ancient prophetic pictorial of the gospel...known in different cultures well before the mystery religions came along and counterfeited it.

One thing's for sure. the devil loves to counterfeit the things of God. With his obsession with pyramids, it's likely the New Jerusalem is shaped like a pyramid. Ain't you glad the day is coming when we'll be inside and him outside regretting all the dirt that he did mankind?

Ha...Same old BS, huh Stranger? Still barking about everyone lying - still trying to tip people over. Give it up already and join the Body of Christ! Satan is the accuser....we are called to love, for the millionth time

If a literal flood happened; a flood that cannot be agreed upon by Christians (was it world wide? Regional? An inspired story?); not accepted as literal by Jewish people; or recorded outside Mesopotamia in the same form; then, it was a miraculous event, not backed up by science, archeology, geology, or everything known about giant wooden boats surviving current oceanic conditions, let alone colossal, apocalyptic conditions - the debris alone would have destroy the boat before it started
