The Cult of Sol Invictus

When someone calls Christians *the cult of Sol Invictus* he has no business on a Christian forum. He could always join some Muslim forum, since Christians for them are infidels.

Sol Invictus = Unconquered Sun, and the pagan Romans had such an official cult, alongside other cults. But Augustine wrote against this cult. To throw this term at Christians is reprehensible.

don't worry, the Christians will not be offended anyway, and I understand your angst here. i'm really not inclined nor in a position right now to reiterate all the points that have already been repeatedly ignored and brushed aside, but it's prolly a good thread subject--the Cult that is--so voila.

You might examine your preoccupation with Muslims, or not, but fwiw that is all explained in the "unconquered" or "Invictus" part, or "halting the sun at Gibeon" too I guess, whenever you care to engage​
