Praise the Lord. Reminds me of the conclusion Solomon came to: That a man's purpose and fulfillment is ultimately to be found in God, not earthly pleasures.
Sex in and of itself, especially when devoid of feeling through a calloused heart, never makes anyone truly happy. It's when someone gives themself to their partner completely out of love, wanting instead to make them happy, that they find true fulfillment in sexuality. And the same can be said in all areas of life. As the scripture says, "it is better to give than to receive."
Strange thing is, it is often only those who wallow in the dregs of total hedonism as Solomon did who finally come to this understanding. Most only pursue things partially, and therefore never arrive at this inevitable conclusion.
