The False vs True Gift Of Tongues

Just read the words of the scripture. It's history. Jesus was speaking directly and emphatically to THEM! Read the historical account. Because he said these things to THEM, what makes you think it has the same direct application to you? It doesn't. You were not directly taught anything by the Lord. He does not imply that YOU would recall all things taught, because YOU weren't one of those his words were addressed to. You are misreading, misapplying, and taking things out of intended context. Do we all receive the gift of the Holy Ghost as per Acts 2:38? Yes; but that's not at all the same as the John 14 as I indicated. The same holds true with the misapplicstion of Acts 1 and 2. It was the apostles to whom the power from on high was promised per Luke 24:49, which resulted in that being demonstrated by THEM in Acts 2 when the Spirit fell on THEM, and THEY spoke in other tongues which resulted in the conversion of the Jews and the start of the church at Jerusalem.

And with all of this you are reading what I wrote without understanding. I won't argue the point as only God gives the increase. Without Him you and I can nothing good at all.

to go into all nations , baptizing them and TEACHING THEM to OBSERVE ALL THINGS HE had taught them .

Being a retired Math, History, Computer, Theology, Biblical Language Master Teacher-Professor of K to University. I appreciate the math parts. I taught at both Michigans, Wayne State, Maddonna Unversity, Ohio State, Wayne Community College and elsewhere. Public School Districts: Dearborn, Canton, Wayne-Westland and Catholic Schools. His name is removed from the book of life and all the plagues written shall come upon Him .
Man plus JESUS equals salvation and the end eternal life .

Back when I joined the Pentecostal Holiness church...


1. Salvation- As easy as looking onto Jesus
2. Sanctification- With a sweet spirit- If not - Come back tomorrow night!
3. Holy Spirit- Can come with gifts, including tongues.
4. Sunday - An evening and a morning service
5. Wednesday- Family night
6. Saturday- Prayer
7. Revivals - Many in a year, conference would want reports on the experiences

So we were basically Methodist. It is my experience that the Holy Spirit comes upon people uniquely. All tongues are not the same. All gifts are not the same. Some have gifted in the Word, Music, and in wonderful personality. To me sanctification is the chief gift to pursue. If you have not a wonderful spirit we will tell you to come back tomorrow night and smile a little as we say it.

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you... - Galatians 4:19

Rom 10:6 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, ‘WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is, to bring Christ down),

Gal 3:2 This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?

Mat 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.'”

Heb 5:11,12 Concerning him we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.

Jesus taught His disciples, and He still does!! At least if they have not rebelled against Him and have thus said in their hearts that He is now in some far-off place called heaven, instead of being near us so that we still hear Him speak TODAY.

But we still run across people who focus on " HE himself ascended ", as opposed to the fact that He is near us!!

So to them He does not speak, like Isaiah pointed out, and they focus on " HE had taught them", instead of the word we preach being near us!

That happens when a person becomes "dull of hearing", which is a huge problem and the reason Paul wrote, " the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?"

Oh yeah, the Lord teaches, so He also taught. But the point is that He teaches, Today!! And that for anyone who practices seeking Him and listening to Him - "hearing with faith"

And if you are not practicing hearing with faith on those days called "Today", then you are not qualified to teach anyone else!!!!!!! And instead you have need for "someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God" ... just like it is written. And so that is the "one thing" that is needed to be known... just like Paul wrote!!

Indeed Jesus said:

Luke 10:41,42 But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things;
but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”

And so that "one thing" is like Jesus said and Paul wrote, and it is hearing by faith!! Not heard by faith, but hearing by faith!!

It is that the Lord speaks, not that He spoke and ascended into heaven, though He did do that. But it is that He is on the throne in heaven as the King and His Kingdom is in our midst so we can and need to realize that He speaks - and that on the day called "Today!"

Heb 3:7,8 Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says,
“TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,
DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME,

So it is the devil would like nothing more than to convince you that Jesus is either still dead of ascended to a far off place called heaven, so that to hear from Him you have to read your Bible. We believers in Him, even the Word of God who is near us, don't say that He ascended to we have to go by the writings He taught others, but we use the sacred writing to tell people the Good News, and that is that the Word of God, Jesus Christ, is near us Today!!

Of did you never hear His Holy Spirit tell you: "We don't use the Lord to preach the Scriptures, we use the Scriptures to preach the Lord."

The religious person gets that backwards because they have said in their heart that Jesus is either still dead or is in a far off place called heaven, so they reason that it is about what He said and taught, and not that He says and teaches. They failed to note that Jesus reproved that liar, by explaining that man must live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God!! Proceeds is a present tense, not a past tense. BUT If what we think we are supposedly hearing from Christ , God , the SPIRIT
contradicts in any way what JESUS taught while on earth , you can bet your very bottom most dollar and UP
ITS OF THE DARK ONE , that ol flesh feeder who has come of his own accord
to seduce those who love the flesh . He be all over the realm of even christendom and he has his peoples
pumping a false love out to them churches and to even the false religoins to merge them under what
they beleive IS GOD , under what they beleive to be the Love of GOD . HIMS a TWISTER my friend .
And those who love the god are gonna heed the god . many love first and foremost
the god of the mirror , and by gollly can satan feed that god its hearts desires .
SO go ahead and quote certain twisted truths all day , but in the end if we followed
one who twisted truth , well , lets just say that end of that soul wont be GOOD .
STOP HEEDING these charlatons at ONCE . and rather start embracing ALL things JESUS taught
dont be as many who pit apostel against apostle and try and make it seem as though james or paul were at odds
and that somehow something james said didnt apply to us , or vice versa .
James , peter , paul , john , nor any other preached a different gospel . THERE was NOT a gospel to the jews
and then a slightly different one to the gentiles . AND EVERY WORD of GOD
JESUS would not contradict , NOR have taught us its okay TO DO SO ,.
any love that trods under foot the Words of GOD , IS a love that has indeed come of the world to feed
the soul of those whose hunger was for the god of the mirror . And satan knows
how to pump an idea of having salvation and all the while Hating truths the very AUTHOR of SALVATION himself did teach .
OH MANY LOVE the idea of having salvation , BUT THEY HAVE NO LOVE FOR THE AUTHOR of salvation .
NOW this be a fact and on the day of the LORD it will be a very PAINFUL fact to those who embraced That LIE .

BUT i do have good news amadeus . JESUS CAN say that .
And i can say that GOD IS PERFECT , CHRIST IS PERFECT , THE SPIRIT IS PERFECT
and EVERY WORD OF GOD is RIGHT and GOOD .
Now in CHRIST JESUS the lambs are counted righteous , and by HIS SPIRIT are and can walk rigtheously .
I can also say that while even we may have erred at times
THAT THE WORDS OF GOD do not err . THAT THE WORDS of CHRIST are not error
THAT IN FACT , EVERY WORD GOD INSPIRED , EVERY WORD JESUS SAID
and later the words of the apostels INSPIRED BY that SPIRIT are GOOD .
You see i , nor should any of us , try and go around , make void , try and omit or twist THEM WORDS .
RATHER we ought to take the advice of even peter who said
That Even the words of his own letters or of pauls and others DO STIR US UP and that
EVEN THOUGH the church peter wrote too was already Established in the truth

We need to hear what He is saying and see what He is showing us. Then we need to follow as He leads. The choice is always ours, but the ability to do many things lies in Him alone. So then even understanding what is right we must lean on Him and ask for His help. Is He not always right there?

the heart of man is evil from his youth up . and that is A fact .
There is none who is truly GOOD in the eyes of GOD AND THAT HAS NOT FALLEN FAR SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD .
A FACT .
guess what that means . EVERY MAN , EVERY WOMAN BORN of mankind NEEDS JESUS THE CHRIST . this too be a fact .
HE who is of GOD hears us , HE who is not of GOD does not hear us . THAT is another fact .

but he or she who adds too , twists , omits , they do so unto their own destruction .
NOW if any do err , WE GOT A PATTERN , WE HAVE A HIGH PRIEST .
we confess , we repent , BUT NEVER JUSTIFY our sins OR the SINS OF ANYONE . that is NOT A GOOD SIGN .
THAT IS NOT A GOOD SIGN . SIN should grieve us , even the evil of our own flesh should grieve us .
YET MANY HOLD UP BANNERS , and many HOLD UP SIGNS , and many FOLLOW another love
by another god who has come to procliam it is LOVE and it s GOD .
and THEIR LOVE HONORS SINS , IT HONORS SINS , ITS HONORS OTHER PATHS TO GOD
Amadues IT IS THE LIE that has come to merge the false to be as one .

We need to hear what He is saying and see what He is showing us. Then we need to follow as He leads. The choice is always ours, but the ability to do many things lies in Him alone. So then even understanding what is right we must lean on Him and ask for His help. Is He not always right there?

the heart of man is evil from his youth up . and that is A fact .

what man born of woman , or even adam who was simply created of dirt
can say I have not sinned nor trangressed and am PERFECT .
BUT i do have good news amadeus . JESUS CAN say that .
And i can say that GOD IS PERFECT , CHRIST IS PERFECT , THE SPIRIT IS PERFECT
and EVERY WORD OF GOD is RIGHT and GOOD .
Now in CHRIST JESUS the lambs are counted righteous , and by HIS SPIRIT are and can walk rigtheously .
I can also say that while even we may have erred at times
THAT THE WORDS OF GOD do not err . THAT THE WORDS of CHRIST are not error
THAT IN FACT , EVERY WORD GOD INSPIRED , EVERY WORD JESUS SAID
and later the words of the apostels INSPIRED BY that SPIRIT are GOOD .
You see i , nor should any of us , try and go around , make void , try and omit or twist THEM WORDS .
RATHER we ought to take the advice of even peter who said
That Even the words of his own letters or of pauls and others DO STIR US UP and that
EVEN THOUGH the church peter wrote too was already Established in the truth
that peter would STILL CONTINUE by his letters and of course he speeches TO STIR THEM UP BY REMEMBRANCE .
BUT many would rather omit them words . MANY would rather twist them unto their own destruction .
But , and this is a giant Butt too ameadues . BUT I KNOW BY GRACE
That EVERY WORD from every warning to every promise WORKS GOOD to those who learn , who keep , who do them .
ITS Why i holler often and loudly , HEY FOLKS lets BIBLE UP cause way too many a man and a people
BE DECIEVING folks . but TRUTH dont decieve . THE INSPIRED words of GOD DO NOT DECIEVE
they help us to learn and to grow by THE GRACE OF GOD , BY THE SPIRIT , and when i say SPIRIT
lets not forget WHO MOVED THEM MEN TO SPEAK as they did , THE HOLY GHOST DID . but many men
