The Lord came to destroy the works of the Devil (1 John 3:8), when the Lord returns He will destroy the works of the anti-christ (at peace?)

Hi there!

So this is just a little tidbit of elaboration of scripture: 1 John 3:8 says "Jesus came to destroy the works of the Devil" (paraphrase). In other words, we are given freedom, peace and understanding. But there is more.

When Jesus returns, He will be extending his purpose, to those who are on Earth; now, Jesus will come to destroy the works of the anti-christ. In other words, we will be given, hope, trust and impartation.

The battle Jesus fights, will build on the fact that the anti-christ has no authority, if he can't force his works on others - who live in fear on Earth.

I just wanted to help you reflect on His coming.

I hope this has been of some encouragement.

God bless.
