Since the website you posted lacked credibility I did a search myself and found the fox news source. So there may be some truth to the OP but it didn't mention the Mormon church. It mentions high profile public officials.

News flash: sinners (including pedophiles) exist in every set of pews, including yours. This is a human problem, and no group is immune. Never assume someone is “safe” because you know them from church.

Be sure to give your children a solid age-appropriate education on sexuality (example: “people aren’t supposed to touch your private parts”) and keep communication open so if something happens (cause something does happen to approximately 1/3 girls and 1/6 boys) you can be a safe person for your kid to talk to.

Can happen to any one. Seen a person get caught on Colorado Ped Patrol, and they have a cross around there neck. These people really do need some good help, they probably were abused when they were children and that is so unfortunate.
