Neither is he saved by his own works. Praise God.
In Matthew 25 Jesus seperates sheep from goats according to their ministry toward the hungry, thirsty, sick, naked, and imprisoned. The goats are sent into everlasting fire. It is not about rewards, but about Salvation.

Ministry works are fruit. Every branch that is not fruitful is cut off and thrown into the fire. It is the dutiful works done according to the Mosaic Law which do not provide Salvation. Do you understand the difference?

We can pray about this, and God will help you.

Regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost happens "not by works of righteousness which we have done." (Titus 3:5)

Ephesians 2:8-10
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Salvation is by grace and works are the result of salvation not the means to salvation. Real faith produces good works. A good tree bears good fruit.

What is done by God with any unproductive trees and branches? He seperates them and sends them into the fire for destruction. Wise men will acknowledge this, rather than ignore it by just talking about the other trees.

A person in God's Kingdom exists within Kingdom Life, Kingdom Position, and Kingdom Identity as a tree. But, such a person who produces no fruit will be judged and thrown out. Their Salvation by faith is annulled. Salvation is only entry into the Jesus as the Door to the Kingdom.

No one can bear good fruit unless they are connected to the vine; and the connection that we have to the vine is by and through faith (alone).

The fruit that we bear does not cause us to be connected to the vine; however, being connected to the vine causes us to bear good fruit.

So then, salvation is not inherent in the bearing of good fruit; good fruit is the result of a salvation that is inherent in being connected to the vine.

Titus 3:5 should be key to your understanding.

The one who is regenerated and renewed in the Holy Ghost will most definitely bear good fruit; however they are not regenerated and renewed by the good fruit (or works of righteousness which they have done). The good fruit comes as the result of being regenerated and renewed in the Holy Ghost.

Titus 3:5 is indeed a key for entry into Christ before Eternity. But mere entry into Christ is not endurance of the race.

Praise God He gives Hope and instruction in segments we can sequentially understand. He knows us so well.

Matt. 25 has Jesus stating the following:

Vs. 41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels."
Vs. 45, "Inasmuch as you did it not unto the least of these, you did it not to me."

According to Jesus in vss. 35-36, this happens to everyone who:

1.) Does not give food and water to hungry and thirsty people.
2.) Does not house strangers.
3.) Does not give clothes to naked people.
4.) Does not go see sick people.
5.) Does not go see people in prison.

This describes homeless criminals, druggies, the mentally ill, the resourceless unemployed, screaming mobs of desperate and disenfranchised rioters, the demon possessed, murderers, felons, people dying in hospitals, hoards of homeless orphans in Africa, thieves who steal food, babies being aborted, Liberals in poverty after rejecting God.

Jesus said nothing here about asking Him into your heart, or about falling on your knees.

Well when one looks at those scriptures it tells us that these who are Jesus brothers and does not feed them, does not house them, does not clothe them, does not help those his brothers when they are sick, does not visit his brothers when in prison, are judged as goats and told they will go off into destruction. The scriptures show us that the ones who Jesus considered his brothers are his disciples who will be in heaven with him. So the time that this is happening shows that the goats didn't help Jesus brothers in the work that he gave them to do.

So in these scriptures at Matthew 25 Jesus is “the Son of man,” the King. Those referred to as “my brothers” or brethren are spirit-anointed men and women, who will rule with Christ from heaven. (Rom. 8:16, 17) “The sheep” and “the goats” represent individuals from all nations. These ones are not anointed by holy spirit. What about the timing of the judgment? This judgment will occur toward the end of the great tribulation just ahead. And what of the reason why people will be judged as either sheep or goats? The outcome hinges on how they have treated the remaining ones of Christ’s spirit-anointed brothers on earth. With the end of this system so close at hand.

Here in God's excellent Word through Jesus, there is no mention of Jesus' Brothers being spirit-anointed men and women, who will rule with Christ from Heaven.

Therefore, we can see they are some other group. Blessings in your search for truth.

Yes, nothing mentioned about faith, right?

So, be careful to take those passages in their proper context.

You're onto to something here. But you cannot reject the rest of the scriptures. The scripture you posted applies to people that have accepted Jesus as their savior, the rest are already lost.

So basically once you've done all the things to be saved you must also do Matthew 25. And that's what it means to follow Jesus the Christ.

Basically we get baptized and receive the Holy Spirit. And God guides us with the Holy Spirit to do all these things, under direction of the Clergy of our church.
In the passage, there are three groups mentioned, the sheep nations, the goat nations, and the brethren of Jesus.

Who are Jesus’ brethren?

Hebrews 3:1 tells us that Paul was talking to all the brothers of the heavenly calling.

People he chooses to be his brethren brother. They're probably from among the sheep.

If they are among the sheep, then you are saying that there are only two groups in the passage ~ the sheep nations and the goat nations? But that would be problematic, for how can Jesus say to His brethren, being among the sheep what he said in v.40?

Context matters as to what is being said! Jesus spoke these at the judgment of the survivors of the tribulation period. The sheep were those who did not take the mark while the goats were those who took th emark.

Those who took the mark were damned and under the spell of the antichrist and Satan and were part and parcel of hunting down Jesus brethren- many scholares believe this to be the 144,000 Jews sealed or the remnant over time. If not them, then definitely it would be the unsaved jews fleeing for their lives from the genocide called by the antichrist and the sheep would have been those believers who helped hide and care for them until they got saved in the end of the trib.

But you would only do that in the last half of the trib, if you were a believer.

Wasn’t the writer of Hebrews addressing the Hebrews and not others who aren’t Hebrews?
