i cannot believe i am actually entertaining your response.

what you are calling 'my words' is your paraphase and the conclusion you are drawing from it.

My stance on abortion has been consistant.

Finally, who appointed you as my gaurdian? this board is not a legal document or a place for me to record my beliefs for all times. Your game of running around correcting me with your twisted version of 'my words' is legalistic, infantile, and fails to take into account the possibility that I have right to grow in my beliefs or expand my beliefs. I suggest you grow up and focus on yourself rather than dogging me.

Yes, your stance on abortion HAS remained consistent. And I have presented it just as you have said it.

You support it for women who it is felt would not make good mothers.

True or false?

Post # 16 points out that you support legalized abortion, but you do not mention any parameters. You just say it should be "the last option."
That doesn't show what you said originally about access to mothers who would be poor parents:

Here are YOUR OWN actual original words:

Posted 05 November 2012 - 02:34 PM
"I am wondering why anti-abortion advocates believe that prochaoice advocates have never thought about these questions.....

Yes, aborion laws need to be revised. Yes, abortion laws can be taken too far.

None of the questions above address the reason abortion needs to remain legal; rape, incest, inability to raise a child in a world that does not value children outside the womb."

Aspen, these ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ are YOUR very words

You are flat out saying that if the person has an 'inability' to raise a child, that justifies murdering the child (you have already said abortion is murder so...)

You somehow feel it is justified to provide an abortion on demand if the woman or some organization feels that she would be a failure as a parent.

Sorry, but that is HARDLY "the last option."

Just because you choose not to remember what you said doesn't mean others will...

foreigner, what does the word 'inability' mean? Go to the greek if you have to - i know how you guys love to consult the Greek whenever possible.

Now, how does the phrase 'inability to parent' and 'abortion on demand' differ?

You really do just talk and not listen, don't you?

I have ALWAYS been one of the people here who has criticized the people who choose to hide behind the 'original Greek' or 'ancient Aramaic' or 'modern Latin.'

Once again your words and actual facts have nothing in common.

Your EXACT phrase was, "inability to raise a child in a world that does not value children outside the womb."

So your criteria is that a perfectly healthy child could be born but because the mother may have the 'inability' to raise it, it is better to kill it before birth.

In other words, kill what would be a perfectly healthy baby, not conceived due to rape or incest, simply because the parent or someone else may not feel they up are to the job of parenting.

That means all the parent or a doctor or a county service person would have to say is that the mother is not qualified to be a parent and they will be granted an abortion...on demand.

Tell me again how that is 'the last option." Save it. It isn't and you know it.

Sorry, but your verbal gymnastics are minor league.
