I found something interesting: the nature of the Rapture actually changes depending on the circumstance in which it is invoked, in order to bring about change [in the Holy Spirit] for God.

It's like a sign-up sheet, for calls above and beyond the normal line of duty (for God).
It may be interesting for you, but it is not even close to being biblical.

The rapture is at the coming of Christ, the 2nd coming.
There is no 3rd coming.
It is not a spiritual coming it is bodily as every eye shall see Him coming on the clouds of heaven.
It means the doom of the wicked and the salvation of the righteous in the Lord.

27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

'appear a second time apart from sin for salvation.'
First time Christ came, was as a sacrifice for sin.
Second time is for judgement of the wicked, and our salvation from this evil age.

Only believers eagerly wait for Him.

Hi there,

So I am just teasing out what the Rapture means. The idea in theology is that the Rapture is an event, that separates those that have it from those that don't. There is some truth to this. But what is actually happening?

My understanding is that the Rapture is the birthing of a conviction in the heart, that the Holy Spirit has overcome sin, evil and oppression. This conviction in turn empowers the Word of God, to act within the heart of the believer. What does it do? It instills the inspiration of the Word, to utilize this overcoming, to put it to work for the Glory of God. With the right conviction, Man can achieve almost everything.
....

That is pretty much RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHY created by applying unrelated ideas to Bible Scripture. Doing that is a NO, NO for those in Christ Jesus.

Leave that kind of working of the abuse of God's written Word for the 'hirelings' of John 10 which Christ did NOT call which are not of His sheep. Those hirelings are not given to understand God's written Word, so they have to make up religious philosophy instead. Stay with what God's Word says as written, regardless whether you have fully understood it yet or not.
