1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Romans 12:1-2.
What is the will of God. Be it the good will, the acceptable will, or the perfect will of God.
The renewing of the Mind: the transformation of the Mind from the knowledge of Good and Evil, to the knowledge of and in, the mind of Christ. The will of God is written; you must be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Not his mind renewed to you, but the renewing of your mind to him that is in you. Even Jesus Christ. A new mind to go with the new creation.
The will of God is not where you go, what eat, where you live or how you exist. Other than the born-again believer having the mind of Christ.
This is a beautiful scripture. The scripture allows the believer to understand, lets them know; that one of the greatest powers that can be known to mankind is the power of the mind to be changed. You cannot change a lot of things in this world, but the one thing that can be changed is the mind. For you see that on the cross and the power of the Cross was to make the exchange in nature that existed in mankind, that is spirit not mind.
And the scripture says, our text verse; that the power can be known to the believer to change their mind. A mind change. That happens by the transforming and the renewing of that mind. The exchange of Nature's - of lives - from death to life on the cross. It was an exchange of death life to life life, not a change but exchange, that happened in spirit. Now the change for their mind will come upon renewing that mind, transformed by the renewing of the mind through the scriptures. Bless you!
