Isaiah 11:1-3
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the
spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of
wisdom and
understanding, the spirit of
counsel and
might, the spirit of
knowledge and of the
fear of the Lord;
I’m sorry for any derailment of your thread. It is a great topic. (Imo) you brought something significant to light in the above. Never saw it or related the seven in the above before, so thank you for sharing what He has shown.
one even states that is is the perfect completeness of the Holy Spirit....
let me experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit in my life.
This may help. A great promise given. A promise which in the past couple days has brought extreme hope in my own life and hopefully in yours also. It relates well to your topic (I think)and the above...your desire of “let me experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit in life.” It has to do with the ‘Living water’ and the River coming out from God’s throne. Consider The ‘Living water’ Is the Spirit of Righteousness coming out from God. He stood and cried out “If any thirst ...let him drink!” John 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
If any drink of the Spirit of righteousness ...they will never thirst after righteousness again but be “filled” with the righteousness of God’s Spirit. It is a promise in “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all this will be added...” His fulness!
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and
thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
blessed are they which thirst after (His) righteousness...the ‘Living water’ for they shall be filled with the Spirit of righteousness! Philippians 1:11
Being
filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are
by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
James 3:17-18 But the wisdom that is from above is
first pure, then
peaceable,
gentle, and
easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits,
without partiality, and
without hypocrisy. [18] And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
Pure, peaceable, gentle, easily intreated, full (filled) with mercy and good fruit, without partiality, without hypocrisy...fruits of the Spirit of righteousness promised to those blessed who thirst to be filled with His righteousness...and they will Never thirst after righteousness again but be filled with His.
2 Peter 1:5-8 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith
virtue; and to virtue
knowledge; [6] And to knowledge
temperance; and to temperance
patience; and to patience
godliness; [7] And to godliness
brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness
charity. [8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor
unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
...(7 again)...Matthew 11:29
[29] Take my yoke upon you, and
learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
John 7:37-38 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying,
If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. [38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
“...let me experience the
fullness of the Holy Spirit in my life.”
