Prophecys are like parables, it is not for everyone to understand. But when there are Christians that teach prophecys that have been interpreted by non-christians then the word of God becomes one of errors. It makes Jesus a false prophet. How is that? Because one has to change the meaning of words, and makes what Jesus said to be in error.Dodo_David said::lol:
In Christ's parable of the sheep and the goats, do the sheep fuss about end-time prophecies?

Some examples:

Fig tree becomes the nation of Israel. It doesn’t say that. Jesus was telling his disciples how they (the disciples) would know when the end of time was coming. Just as if one said “when you see the sun far in the west, know that night is coming”.
Same as "shortly, nigh, at hand" becomes '1000's of years"

“When ye (disciples)” becomes “when those in the future”. That is not proper interpretation , Jesus speaking to his disciples who had ask him the question does not become “when a future generation” .

Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Resurrection.
Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
It goes on and on”
“this generation” meaning ‘their generation’ becomes “that generation”
“All” becomes “some”. Referring to Jesus saying he had come to fulfill ‘all’.
As a Christian we should understand the third part of the bible that is about prophecy. Let us clear our minds and read the scripture for what God says, not what some man has told us.
