In Christ's parable of the sheep and the goats, do the sheep fuss about end-time prophecies?
Prophecys are like parables, it is not for everyone to understand. But when there are Christians that teach prophecys that have been interpreted by non-christians then the word of God becomes one of errors. It makes Jesus a false prophet. How is that? Because one has to change the meaning of words, and makes what Jesus said to be in error.

Some examples:

Fig tree becomes the nation of Israel. It doesn’t say that. Jesus was telling his disciples how they (the disciples) would know when the end of time was coming. Just as if one said “when you see the sun far in the west, know that night is coming”.
Same as "shortly, nigh, at hand" becomes '1000's of years"

“When ye (disciples)” becomes “when those in the future”. That is not proper interpretation , Jesus speaking to his disciples who had ask him the question does not become “when a future generation” .

Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Resurrection.

Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

It goes on and on”

“this generation” meaning ‘their generation’ becomes “that generation”

“All” becomes “some”. Referring to Jesus saying he had come to fulfill ‘all’.

As a Christian we should understand the third part of the bible that is about prophecy. Let us clear our minds and read the scripture for what God says, not what some man has told us.

The world has turned it's back on God! The end is near! Now let's close with a prayer...... It's not that I don't agree with these statements, but now what?.
Imagine that you are a captain of a ship in the North Atlantic in 1912 and you happen to be present when the Titanic hits an iceberg and begins to sink. The Titanic is doomed and nothing can save it. What do you do now? The obvious answer is to rescue as many of the passengers as you can.

Christians are in a similar situation today. The world has rejected God and will soon face his judgment. There is nothing we can do to prevent it. But because of our relationship with Christ we aren't part of this world and won't be won't be condemned with it. We can do what the ship's captain would do; we can try to rescue as many people as we can by telling them the gospel. Individuals can still be saved and the world's condition should provide an incentive for us to do as much as we can to show them how.

problem is we are not called to save anyone - we cannot even save ourselves. in your titanic analogy, the lifeboats are leaving and all we can do is show people the way, unfortunately we are being drowned out by zealots screaming and blaming and guilting people into looking at them instead of the boats - just so they can tell that the boat is sinking. i remember a friend of mine who got hit by a car as he was recrossing the street so she could tell him to look both ways. we are called to love one another and we are going to hateful lengths to avoid doing so. we are called to be vulnerable and we are confusing it with acting bizarre, being socially embarressed as a result and calling it courage and finally equating it with persecution.
