That little raccoon in your profile picture is adorable. We have coons that visit our house at night looking for kitty snacks that may be left out. Amazing little creatures to watch as they interact and make their way.

I put food out on my back deck more than 10 years ago and one female raccoon came and made a den under my shed. She's been there ever since. She brings her babies to me, and if I can start them young enough, I can get them to eat out of my hand. And her babies grow up and bring me their babies. I love them to pieces. I suspect all the females are nursing young and don't come out. I expect the new batch in July. Right now I have one baby from last year that is still coming at sundown; and later one adult. I have food out all night and it is gone in the morning, so there are more. Plus possums and their young.

Now, all these years later, I have generations of buzzards that each bring their new brood of babies to meet me. I think they're telling their kids, if you can't find something dead to eat this lady will feed you stuff that tastes very good.

One morning about 4 am I looked out on the deck and saw the cutest animal I've ever seen. I had to google Tennessee wild life and saw that it was a vole. The only one I've ever seen. I hadn't even heard of them before.

In Rev 20:1-3 we are told that the Bottomless Pit is locked up for 1,000 years. Is this true?

In Rev 9:1-6 we are told that an angel was given the key to unlock the Bottomless pit where those judged in Isa 24:21-23 where imprisoned after they were judged.

Are you suggestion that the bottomless pit was unlocked a number of times after it was locked in Rev 20:1-3 as Rev 20:7-10 suggests that it remained locked until after the 1,000 years had passed.

In Rev 9 we are also told this: -

Revelation 9:11: - And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.​

The following the Scorpions, came the four beasts, acting as one, which are again spoken of in Rev 13 and 17.

It is your flawed understanding that Jesus comes back "permanently for 1,000 years."

My understanding is that Jesus does not return "permanently" until the time of the GWTR judgement which also occurs after the 1,000 years has passed and after the "little while period" where Satan and the beasts and the False Prophet and the Scorpions all rise up out of the Bottomless pit for the last tilt of Satan to become a diety so as to rule over all of the earth.

Sorry, but you are being inconsistent in your responses. When I have used the OT to compliment the NT you tell me I am wrong without any evidence to prove that what I was posting was wrong. I have shown from the OT that the understanding you and many others have adopted is based on a wrong understanding of what was being stated. Jesus was referring to the Millennium Age, the Summer Season of harvest, in Matt 24:34 and mentioned metaphorically in Matt 24:32 and stating that what he had described previously would all come to pass during that age.

It is my understanding that your premise is simply based on the modern understanding of the English word Generation and not on the meaning used in Jesus's first Advent.

I believe that if you want to know what timeframe relates to a "Generation" then look at the 40 years in the wilderness. That 40 year duration was in order to have the generation die off so they wouldn't enter the promised land. That was a type. The 40 years signified 40 Jubilees that would occur before the Second Coming of Christ.
