Tokyo Introduces Transparent Toilet Rooms

For anybody that thinks Tokyo is a leader in good new ideas, like the invisible toilet, here's a good one for you: I had to make sure there wasn't anything too visually sick in this news story, but yeah, here it is: (removed link as it was a little too inappropriate when I scrolled lower: but it was an article about the birthrate in Japan being lower due to sex robots, here's a more classy article on the issue: Sex robots may cause psychological damage)

My understanding is Japanese culture has deviant sexual appetites for children, and even have senior citizen orgy clubs, or something to that effect. I mean that's all just the things of the flesh, but they embrace these things as a culture. When that happens in a society you're playing a whole 'nuther ball game in God's eyes.

That's where I'm at now. I got snookered into the agenda of the world during the Trump era. And now I have no more stomach for the life draining politics and economics of the world (Ecclesiastes 5:8). Now I'm into videos about cats, dogs, fails (lol), and have watched a couple of interesting Titanic informational videos. So I guess videos about transparent toilets fits in there too, lol. I'm sick of the click bait Trump this, and Trump that videos, and the sky is falling economic warning videos. Very few political and economic videos and news stories capture my attention now. Thank God!

There is this neat app on google play that just talks about good/uplifting news. I had literally just typed that in the search. I use my phone though, so even though it is interesting stuff, I had to take it off my phone for more memory. Next phone I get might be a little smarter. Lol.

Yeah this whole, pushing the see-thru bathroom on public, reminds me of gun rights in Japan, there are none. I'm not an expert but I think they have a more socialist gov, like what some leaders are pushing on the USA. The sexual deviation does sound like a biblical problem that would scare me if I was a Christian living in Japan.

As expressed before on another post, and in contradiction to what you were attempting to assert, diplomacy, tact and empathy are essential for a coherent and productive discussion.

Being cryptic and ambiguous does not help the objective, and is perceived as being difficult and troublesome.
Inundating a thread with accusative passages that are extremely disparate to the topic at hand, is misguided and suspicious.
Asking someone for personal information when they offered no desire or inclination to divulge such information, is being callous and invasive.
Replying with an 'lol' to an extremely serious post, is considered mocking and ridicule.

I was going to say...if several passages were quoted off topic, all talking about the wicked and hypocritical to you, quietthinker...then you may feel a bit uncomfortable and on the defense too. I felt he was using random scriptures in a goading, judgemental way. That is trolling.

That said, we got back on topic and have been having fun in fellowship. Ive put my anger aside and am focusing on how weird and interesting this glass is. Fun topic!

Thanks, but I don't feel comfortable clicking that link and I know what you were meaning but invisible toilet makes it appear that you're peeing or pooping in midair.

I don't click on anything with "sex" and "robots" but it is cool what people come up with as far as a stall.

Umm,.. yeah,.. I think that I'm going to stay away from it as well.

Then by all means steer clear, it's a BBC serious article for people that take the concept seriously, apparently some of the robots are programmed to simulate a rape scenario and it has serious social and psychological repercussions.

I'm not going to make a separate thread on the issue although I could, but I just thought with the transparent toilet idea, rape in Japan might be a serious problem for some reason.

I totally understand, laughing at something weird going on in Japan. Along with some good light humor at what strange things people do, I would also consider the people that go to the parks and are forced to use these toilets that invoke feelings that are insecure at best. It's probably not funny to them. But yea being in the category of the "not affected" I did find it slightly humorous, but just remember:

Well there's the potential for rapists to hide out in a bathroom for sure, and if Japan is promoting rape thru robot sex partners simulating rape scenarios then there's that problem.

But I was also considering where I live, we have a lot of homeless and drug addicts especially around the city centers and Casinos on the Indian reservations. They always seem to tie up the bathrooms so that no one else can use them for hours on end and sometimes sleep in bathrooms so that they are not accessible when someone needs them. It is a huge problem where I live. So maybe they're also thinking that clear bathroom walls will discourage drug users from hiding out in bathroom stalls.

There is an 11pm curfew in Japan, so opaque glass would mean someone is out there. It would make it easier to keep people hiding in bathrooms.

Yeah I know, but can you honestly tell me that you don't at least stifle a laugh when you think about them going through the motions of intercourse and making the noises? If it wasn't for the rape part it would be totally hilarious!! XD I would probably just look like this though.
