Hyundai is running ad campaigns in my area now. They promise they're not raising their car prices at all due to the tariffs.

I've not noticed any other car companies trying to compete with that.

Hyundai was smart, they moved manufacturing to Alabama in 2005, their vehicles are "Tariff Free" made in America!

The 10% Tarriff on Australia is supposedly a retaliatory tarriff, what USA does not realise though our 10% tax on goods and services everyone pays when they do there shopping, whether if it's an Aussie or a foreigner.

The issue is USA needs to up their manufacturing capacity first, and that includes manufacturing of the components to create their products, without that, it's only going bring back inflation, as it would bring up the cost to produce goods in the USA. It's going to take some time for the USA to catch up with the manufacturing capacity of some of those Asian nations, and that's if they can..... And it would take longer than Trump's 2nd term if they pull it of I reckon.

Though I do not see a benefit to placing tariffs on nations like Australia, Canada or the UK.

When I was at an abortion clinic protest, I saw Catholics there and they would not associate with the other churches. So, I started evangelizing Catholics, but they would not talk to me on doctrine. I asked God about it and He told me they were in darkness and could not see the light.
