The Lord did not ordain and command that we celebrate His birth or resurrection, so I wouldn't consider it to be of Him....although I don't believe it is sin to do so, in and of itself. Paul wrote that whether we esteem one day above another or not, to let everyone be persuaded in their own mind, so it's between the individual and the Lord.
Yes. That would be a lovely truth for some to realize here.

I just wanted to point out that there is just no command by the Lord to set aside a day to celebrate these things. He didn't ordain any such days, even though the birth (and resurrection) of Christ are written about in the scriptures.
And yet,we are not to be judged if we honor Easter as his resurrection day,nor Christmas as his time of birth.

Unfortunately, the enemy of God wants to lead us to believe such respect and celebrations are his domain first.

He's a liar from the beginning. And nothing has changed.

Still no proof. Jeremiah 10:1 is about making tree Idols and you should know that. Please, that tree idol is right out of Ted Armstrong's book.
I dont follow Ted Armstrong, I'm a non-denominational Christian that opposes the Cults

Easter, Christmas, and "Sun"day observance is of pagan origin and has no instruction biblically

Yes Easter, Christmas, and "Sun"day observance are of pagan origin that pre-dates Christianity, "The Truth"

Once again, and it's not going to change

Jesus gave the church a direct instruction on how to "Remember Him" not his "Birth" or "Resurrection" but his "Death"

1 Corinthians 11:23-26KJV
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Far be it from this Christian to try to convince someone Pagan history overcomes Christ.
