Two Questions About The Temple

Guys, we have to be a little bit honest here. A member is free to hold the position of Luther, Calvin, Zwingli and other Reformers on a Protestant forum. This would not fall in the realm of an insult since it's directed at an institution as much as anything. I could break out the Catholic catechism to demonstrate similar feelings towards Protestants, but we are in a time where we have a little more ecumenism than that.

There will not be a temple of the Lord's on the mount during the coming tribulation period [same as the 70th week decreed for Israel [Jeremiah 30; Daniel 9:24-27; Matthew 24:15-16; Revelation 11:2;]

Satan's "antichrist" will sit in the temple of his "god" .... the pagan "god" Allah .... this temple is already on the mount as we speak

Paul's explanation in 2 Thessalonians 8-12 is one of the "lawless one's" "god" .... Paul understood the relationship between a pagan "god" and related temple .... he was not speaking of the One and only true God of creation, Jesus Christ

The Lord would not recognize a "Jewish" built temple on the mount for His own in the first place .... Israel is still in blindness today and will be facing the time of Jacob's trouble during the coming tribulation .... notice that Revelation 11:2 tells of the top of the mount as being without a temple of the Lord's

Israel, Jerusalem, and the temple mount will be invaded and occupied by the Muslims during the last half of the tribulation period for 42 months [1260 days]

Remember, the Lord said not one stone will be left standing when He spoke of the time of the end [Mathew 24:1-3]..... this is still true today and will be during the coming tribulation period

His next temple will be built for His coming millennial rule just after the tribulation [Ezekiel 40]

I have long believed that the Bible doesn't teach that God will recognize any temple in Jerusalem as His temple.

However, you are totally off when it comes to identifying Islam as having to do with the Antichrist. For one, Daniel says that the "Little Horn" Antichrist would "change times and laws". Islam has never claimed to change any of God's times or laws. The fact that Islamic law differs from God's law is irrelevant. The prophecy said that the "Little Horn" would change God's law. Only Roman Catholicism claims to have changed God's Ten Commandments.

Since Islam fails to fulfill this characteristic of the "Little Horn" Antichrist, it cannot be the Antichrist. Islam was actually a tool of Catholicism to destroy Bible Christianity in the Near East and in Europe. Check out "The Islamic Connection" on Youtube at https://youtu.be/gTL0PM9CdNE
