There is usually a root cause of sin, unforgiveness is one of them...find the source / root cause, then we can work from there....I’ve had years of counselling by a Christian lady..

I agree with you here...once I found the root cause, and why they did what they did..I could then ask God to help me move forward on my forgiveness journey...imo.

It has helped me also..

It also shows the brother/sister you actually care about them.

Exactly . SIN is simply present in the flesh . The sin that sins . THUS we must simply correct the error .
IF we know about it . The first way to keep the church alert would be continually reading biblcal doctrine
and applying what we learn and do hear , by the POWER of the SPIRIT .

I had to learn about unforgiveness, which is sin, I never knew I was holding on to unforgiveness/ bitterness.....only God can get me through my ignorance...it all came out in the counselling and since.

I’m always looking within myself and asking God to show me, where I need to change, help me understand where the other person is coming from.

Only God can make me into the image of his Son and his doesn’t do it through fear....his ways are perfect.

Do you actually understand that every person here, has had a completely different upbringing......and most have been screwed up by the teaching of the world or their worldly parents?

Have you ever suffered emotional abuse growing up?

If a child is brought up in that, they think it’s normal.

Only God has been able to lead me out of my ignorance into his light....and it’s ONGOING!!

exactly , biblical counseling . Notice unforgivenss is sin . We identify it as sin , JUST like we do with every sin .
All sin must be ceased , corrected and done so quickly .

i have zero problem with BIBLICAL counseling but the counseling that is of the wisdom of men , I DO have a huge problem with . . the error must be ceased .

Yes , but in a couple of your above written statements i saw the wrong kind of counsleing .
For example you said TRUTH when you said the law is used to bring us to Christ , but you messed up when you said
when cannot use the law to correct . cause paul said we do use it to correct .

I disagree

the law was not given for that purpose.

A child of God should know adultery is a sin. I do not need to push the law in their face to judge them when they already know it is sin.

I have seen so many people walk away from God because that's what the church did. They pushed the law. and did nto get to the root issue.. Why should I try to follow God when I can't stop my sin? And the church does not seem to care or want to help me with my sin, so why bother.

the flesh is pride..

thats the problem, and why many can not overcome sin, or do not see their own sin. Anything done in self is sin. it does not matter what it is.

People look to the law and and say I do not break these ten commands and think they are ok, when they are not

So now i have a simple question . THEN WHY is it folks attack those who would correct and say HEY DONT JUDGE
GOD is the JUDGE and HE will correct them , just leave them be .
I mean PUAL was not GOD and yet by the SPIRIT of GOD HE CORRECTED ERROR in the church .
Yet todays mentality , not saying you , is that SHUT UP and KEEP QUIET , you cant correct , just let GOD correct them .
AND YET ITS GOD who uses godly folks to correct . i see lots of errors into todays wisdom wihthin the church .
The best way to fix this is for us to get dug again in the bible , being refreshed with those reminders
and just watch how clear things get in time and things would be cleared up in time .

The root of sin came from Adam , did it not?

Then the root of sin in us has to be understood...I only knew I was in sin after the rebirth.

Then there are all the other sins I still partake in..is shouting and swearing a sin?

Are you perfect?

Do you never sin?

The flesh sins does it not?
