Just like James said, a man is justified by works.

But the context changes this statement.

Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Jesus saving everyone at the end. Doesn't matter what kind of life a person lived. Doesn't matter if they worshiped idols, or anything like that. Doesn't matter if they ever believed there was a God that was mighty than them. Jesus is just gonna save everyone in the end.

But we know it does matter to God what we do in this life. For those who repent and believe are justified, born again and receive the Holy Spirit as promised. And what these ones do in this life will be rewarded as they are transferred from this age into the next, the 1000 year reign on earth with King Jesus as kings and priests.

And we know it does matter to God what those who don't repent, don't believe and aren't justified in this life. For they will face God's judgement and will be sentenced to do time for their crime.

But a wonder of patient endurance and what it can produce will be demonstrated in a coming age. The irresistible love, mercy and grace of the Creator will draw those in the lake of fire to respond to such divine love.

They will draw near to their Creator with a sincere heart of repentance. God will respond with mercy and will forgive them of all their offences and cancel its consequences of confinement for eternity in the lake of fire.

Then God's plan and the desire of His heart will be fulfilled. This is, that the Creator is not willing that any should perish but that ALL come to repentance. Why? So that He can gather ALL unto Himself and set EVERYONE on His never ending purpose for us ALL.

Now this is good news, the gospel of God's love to ALL and experienced by ALL forever without end. Amen.

He Who died, went to hell, rose again so that we don't have to go there. And NOW that He has been taken up to sit beside His Father, we to have gone with Him and sit in heavenly places WITH Him in the present.
