REdefining the word fulfill is beneath you!"Think not that I am come to destroy the Law (10 Commandments), ... I am not come to destroy but to fulfill (uphold/confirm them). ... Whosoever ... shall break one of these ... commandments, and shall teach men so, ... shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: ... whosoever shall do and teach them, ... shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 5:17, 19
Is this also why Jesus obeyed the 10 Commandments?
Did Jesus sin in His lifetime, Ron?
Paul taught all the Commandments that he, himself, upheld.

And if Jesus never sinned, that means He obeyed ALL of the 10 Commandments because Sin is the breaking of the 10 Commandments.Never!
Actually, you make a great point there that I'd forgotten to mention.Gen2Rev,
Yes, keep the commandments.
Do what you need to do, Brother even when we slip up; as long as you are having a relationship with the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ it is important.
Keep believing and holding on the Lord Jesus Christ.
With love in Christ,
Matthew G.
And if Jesus never sinned, that means He obeyed ALL of the 10 Commandments because Sin is the breaking of the 10 Commandments.
Are we not to live just as Jesus lived, Ron?
"He that saith he abideth in Him (continues in His Way) ought himself ... to walk, even as He walked." (to live as He lived)
1 John 2:6
"If a man abide not in Me (continues not in My Way), he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."
John 15:6
Are we not to live as Jesus lived, Ron?
Jesus obeyed ALL the 10 Commandments. If He had not, His life would not have been sinless and His sacrifice would have availed nothing.
Are we not to walk in the Way of Jesus Christ, Ron?
"I am the Way and the Truth and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." (by living in My Way, and following My Truth and My Life)
John 14:6
The 10 Commandments were written in stone as a guide for how to live God's Way.
Are we not to live as Jesus (God) lived in the physical as an example to us of how to live righteously, Ron? How to live HIS Way?
The Bible thoroughly supports the fact that we are to live as He lived, by striving to obey the 10 Commandments, in righteousness.
"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
Matthew 5:48
It has nothing to do with works to salvation, Ron. Not about being under Law to save ourselves. It's about obedience out of love for God. When we love our parents, don't we desire to obey them?
How do we know we love God? Keep the Commandments.
1 John 5:2-3
How do we know we love Jesus? Keep the Commandments.
John 14:15; 15:14
And if Jesus never sinned, that means He obeyed ALL of the 10 Commandments because Sin is the breaking of the 10 Commandments.
Hammurabi's Code
And if Jesus never sinned, that means He obeyed ALL of the 10 Commandments because Sin is the breaking of the 10 Commandments.

Most professed Christians won't be going to heaven, Grail. The Bible is pretty clear on that. And for most Christians, ...
100% YOUR words, not mine. Instigating. If Christ's teachings are not good enough and you are looking to the Old Testament law, you have abandoned Christ. He just was not good enough for you.
Paul obeyed every single one of the 10 Commandments and taught all to do the same. As has already been fully proven in this thread. And depending how serious you are about it, Paul says you are severed from Christ and have fallen from grace.
This has also already been answered in this thread.Well you can hold to teh 10 commandments. but what is your purpose to do so?
To save you ?
To keep you saved?
To enhance your salvation?
To make God more pleased with you?
Paul obeyed all the 10 Commandments. Many verses proving this have already been posted in this thread. Happy to re-post if it would make any difference to you. It's ok though, I won't bother with it knowing that it won't.... you reject the writings of the apostle Paul then.
Any proof to go with your claims that the 600+ Laws were written in stone by God? Any verses at all, Ron?And please do not try that lie that that refers to the other 603 commands God gave to Moses when He also gave him the ten in stone.

Oh, no need. I got this. You are very wrong about that. He even made it clear he was not under the law. And teach others the same?...LOL...give me a number....how many scriptures do you want to prove you wrong?
Oh, no need. I got this.

"Throughout Paul's ministry, he addressed each and every Commandment and made clear that we all should obey them. Clearly, he believed that they were given to all mankind.
Nobody can sin if the 10 Commandments were not given to the entire world 'til the end of time. For sin is the breaking of the Law, the breaking of any of the 10 Commandments.
Paul addresses each of the 10 Commandments as follows:
Idolatry (Commandments #1 & #2), Adultery (#7), Theft and Coveting (#8 & #10)
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Paul states here, in no uncertain terms, that those who do these things, EVEN TODAY, will not inherit the kingdom of God. "DO NOT BE DECEIVED ..." he says.
Here, he repeats the Commandments against Idolatry and Adultery and presents the sin of Murder. (Commandment #6)
Galatians 5:19-21
Next, Paul addresses the sins of Lying and Taking the Lord's Name in vain. (Commandments #9 & #3)
Colossians 3:5-9
Next, he emphasizes the Commandment to Honor thy father and thy mother. (Commandment #5)
Ephesians 6:1-2
If you've been counting, that's 9 of the Commandments. Which leaves only the 4th, and the most controversial by far, the Sabbath Commandment. It is very easy to prove that Paul was a keeper of the Sabbath. There are many verses that confirm this.
Acts 13:14-15
Acts 17:2
Acts 18:1-11
Acts 21:24
Acts 24:14
Acts 25:8
Luke 4:16
1 Corinthians 11:1
Hebrews 4:9
Were the Commandments given to us? Absolutely."
Kindly eat your heart out, Grail.
