VictoryinJesus--- would you be willing to do a little scripture search.!!! Go to
Leviticus 23 - Read the Commandments about the Feasts of The LORD, the first Feasts are the Spring Feasts, then the narration changes!!! the narration starts to go to, When you Harvest your crops, do not harvest the corners of your fields, or go back and gleen, you shall leave that for Widows, orphans, the poor, and the strangers in your Land, I am the LORD. Then the narration goes back to the Fall Feasts. the time that Jesus was here on this earth, He Fulfilled the Spring Feasts, after His death and the giving of the Holy Spirit. Now at that point in time the Access to God through Jesus was available to all mankind, I ask you, do you see that when the narration changed to leaving the crops for the strangers in the land, that it might be a prophesy of the Gospel to the Gentiles. because the Fall Feasts have not been fulfilled yet, these last two thousand years are the time of the Gentiles. have you ever read were it says " When the Fullness of the Gentiles comes in" what do you think, Truth or just Me. also in one of the Gospels it says that if you can convert a Scrib, that he will bring out treasures from his house{scriptures} both old and new.
I am not sure I can answer your question. If the Spirit has revealed something to you, who am I to say whether it is truth or not? I can share, that for me, the old testament is rich with prophetic scripture of the gospel of grace to be offered to the gentiles. For instances: The wild colt that had never been sat on (the foal of an ass/the covenant of grace) being brought in along with an ass (the old mosaic covenant). Mark 11:4 "And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without
in a place where two ways met; and they loose him." It was always the LORD's plan to take the gospel to the gentiles also which is why the Jews were blinded (until the fullness of the gentiles); for
our benefit. "As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes."
1 Kings 8: 43 "Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for:
that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name."
Regarding your question pertaining to Leviticus 23, I ask you to consider these passages of scripture:
Ruth and Naomi: "And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt(authority) over thine handmaid; for thou are a near kinsman."
Ruth 2: 8-16 "Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:
Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.
Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me,
seeing I am a stranger?
And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.
The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.
And Boaz said unto her,
At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.
And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:
And
let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not."
Ephesians 2: 12-13 "That
at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ."
We are not strangers to Christ. Strangers to the world... Yes. But not strangers to the Shepherds voice.
John 10: 2-7 "But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
And
a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep."
The Lord is no stranger to us.
Deuteronomy 14: 21 "Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself:
thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk."
Leviticus 17: 15-16 "And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity."
Deuteronomy 24:20-22 When thou beatest thine olive tree,
thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow. When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard,
thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow. And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
Which gives profound meaning to:
Matthew 25: 41-43 "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand,
Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in:
naked, and
ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Matthew 27: 6-8 "And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. And they took counsel, and
bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
Wherefore
that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day."
I hope this helps in some way.
