Wow, how does your head fit through an airplane hangar door? Now you presume to know my salvation or lack thereof? What boundless hubris you have! You are not god nor would God tell a false prophet like you the state of any mans soul.

I listen intently to the Word of God-But I do not listen to your reinterpretations from your "higher spiritual meanings". If you were a brother and a servant of the Most HIgh God and the Lord Jesus Christ, you would easily know what a person must do to be saved. You answered wrongly on that which explains why you rely on your higher spiritual meanings than the inspired written word of god which is the only source for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished for all good works.
I was not referring to your salvation--nor was the verse I quoted--but referring to what you are missing and being cut out of.

But because you don't actually know and understand--not even that one verse--you turn to making accusations and name calling (again.)

@ScottA, your teaching is false, and your claims of receiving higher spiritual revelation do not give you authority to contradict God's written Word!

You keep suggesting that Christians who rely on Scripture are somehow resisting the Holy Spirit. That is nonsense! The Holy Spirit inspired Scripture! Second Peter 1:21 declares that holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Second Timothy 3:16-17 declares that Scripture is God-given and sufficient to equip us for every good work.

Stop pretending that your private interpretations carry the authority of the Holy Spirit! First John 4:1 commands us to test the spirits, not blindly accept anyone claiming to speak for God.

You also claim Jesus has already returned spiritually through believers. That is false teaching! Acts 1:11 declares that this same Jesus will return as He ascended, and Revelation 1:7 says, "Every eye shall see him." Christ dwelling in believers does not fulfill or cancel His promised return.

When asked how someone is saved, you failed to give the plain gospel answer: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31). Salvation is by grace through faith, not by keeping commandments (Ephesians 2:8-9).

And stop accusing people of resisting the Holy Spirit simply because they expose your errors with Scripture. Rejecting your teaching is not rejecting God! It is obeying God.

Paul warned in Galatians 1:8 that even an angel from heaven must be rejected for preaching another gospel. You certainly have no authority to introduce teachings that contradict God's Word.

ScottA, your supposed spiritual revelations cannot overrule Scripture. Stop twisting God's Word to defend your claims.

To everyone reading this: Test what this man teaches against Scripture. Do not follow someone simply because he claims the Holy Spirit revealed something to him.

Jesus warned, "Take heed that no man deceive you." (Matthew 24:4)

God's Word judges Scott's teaching. Scott's teaching does not judge God's Word.
You are of no authority to say--yet you have said much, not only against me, but against Him who sent me.

As for me, I do not answer to you--but you will answer for every word.

First you say I didn't cite any errors within the church, then you say, just two. Here in two sentences you show yourself to be either blind or a liar.
Now you twiat my words. I said you did not cite the erros of the apostles and the church since the first century except for twqo. If you do not understand that bsic rule of grammar, showing an exception, tell me and I will explain it to you.
Meanwhile, the errors within the early church all center on "2 issues." Which you say I supplied already.
No you did not supply the two errors from the early church. You just supplied errors that came several centuries after. I want to know the errors you say have existed for 2000 years which includes the a[postolic letters and the New Testament. You are not getting off the hook for this. I have asked repeatedly what the errors of the first church were and you have not answered. You didge, evade and throw up straw men in roder to avoid answering that simple request of you.
And again, you show yourself as blind or a liar--saying you would love to hear "your hypotheses"--after I have repeatedly said, it is not "my" hypotheses that I have been giving you, but His who sent me.

If you want to accomplish anything here, stop making it impossible by repeatedly going back over everything, just because you don't believe it and want to ignore it like I have not already addressed things.
Once again you evade answring the question. You have owned this that you say comes from god. You know what is being asked but you would rather nit pick over how it is asked. Then reveal to us what you believe you have recieved from god that the Apostles got wrong in building the church in the beginning.

YOu really are a blow hard. You h ave placed yourself above all scrutiny of believers. Not even Paul whom we know went to the third heaven and proved it by building people up, not arrogantly being condescending to people as you aRE.

HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLE KNOW WHAT AUTHORITY BDAVIDC HAS N THE LORD? YOU CAN'T AND JUST SEEK TO LORD YOURSELF OVER THE BELIEVERS INSTEAD OF BEING A SERVANT AS paul who was caught up to the thitd heaven was.

That is absolutely correct.

But then if there is any issue, it shows a departure from scriptures--which works BOTH ways. The matter simply remains one of understanding, and the examples are many BOTH ways. Many have been right, and also wrong--BOTH ways. Meaning, it is all still under the care of the Spirit to reveal where and when He wills, where no man of his own knowledge is qualified to say one way or the other; and there is no actual contest, only the age-old spiritual war.
Understanding is not hard. God wrote the ordinances and issues of life very clearly so men can understand. It is the believing the actual written Word of God as it is written and allowing that to transform your life through the Holy Spirit that is what the many do not or will not do. Most just ignore the clear teachings of the written Word of God and then there are some who try to mask, twist and reinterpret the written word of God for nefarious purposes

This response proves the very point I made. You say I have “no authority” to judge your teaching, but Scripture commands believers to do exactly that:

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.” (1 John 4:1)

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

I am not claiming personal authority over you. God's written Word is the authority.

And your statement that I have spoken “against Him who sent me” is an extremely serious claim. You are effectively claiming that God sent you, so rejecting your teaching is rejecting God. Then prove it from Scripture.

Paul did not demand unquestioning acceptance because he claimed to speak for God. The Bereans were called “more noble” because they “searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11).

So stop making yourself the issue. I have shown from Scripture where your teaching contradicts God's Word. If I am wrong, open the Bible and prove it. Claiming, “He sent me,” is not proof.

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20)

And yes, I will answer to God for every word I speak. So will you. That is exactly why neither of us gets to place our private revelations above what God has already written.

  • Throughout Jesus' ministry He repeatedly said, "If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”
  • Then before going to the Father, He said He would "send the Helper, the Holy spirit."
  • And then in the book of Revelation He repeats "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches"--seven times!
Why then do most Christians prioritize what and how they believe something like this:
  1. The written word.
  2. The church.
  3. The teachings of men.
  4. Their own understanding.
  5. Works.
  6. Social matters.
  7. Being "spiritual."
How would you list most Christian's priorities?

And what are you doing to make hearing "what the Spirit says" a [seven fold] priority?
Hi ScottA
Yeshua said a lot I have noticed people don't pay attention to, the fact you are using His words causes a stir with lots of people. It doesn't matter the order of all you mentioned, what I have found is people do not understand the difference of what is "out of the mouth of God" and of course since Christ was God it is His words also. They are the only words that won't pass away. So how much of the Bible will pass away to you?
PS I agree with what you said about salvation as I know that you know Christ was God and the first 2 commandments are what you are mentioning for salvation. Yeshua said who those were that loved Him now didn't He?

"But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one."
You're quoting 1 Corinthians 2:15, but you're ignoring what Paul is actually talking about.

"But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man."

Read the entire chapter. Paul is explaining how the things of God are understood through the Holy Spirit. He is not saying that someone who claims to be spiritual is above correction or that nobody has the right to examine what he teaches.

If that's what Paul meant, then why does he tell the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians 14:29, "Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge"?

And why were the Bereans commended in Acts 17:11 for examining what Paul himself taught against the Scriptures?

Think about that, Scott. If even the apostle Paul's teaching was examined against Scripture, what makes you think yours shouldn't be?

You have repeatedly claimed that God sent you and that those who reject your teaching are speaking against Him. Now you're quoting a verse about spiritual discernment as though it places you beyond anyone questioning what you say.

But where does Scripture say that someone who claims to be spiritual cannot be mistaken or corrected?

First John 4:1 says, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

That command applies to your teaching just as much as anyone else's.

Being spiritual doesn't mean you get to decide that your interpretations are God's truth and everyone who disagrees lacks understanding.

And since this discussion began with your teaching about hearing what the Spirit says, let's remember that the Holy Spirit inspired the Scriptures (2 Peter 1:21). We don't have to choose between listening to the Holy Spirit and believing God's written Word.

The Holy Spirit does not contradict the Scriptures He inspired.

So instead of quoting another verse out of context, why not answer the questions I've already asked you?

If your teaching really comes from God, you should have no objection to having it examined against God's Word.

What I said was the point. But you have assumed I do not understand my own point. You are wrong.

But that is your way of rejecting correction. That's on you, and the sheer volume of your rejection response, is the measure which will be measured back to you.

And if the hearing one gets contradict Scripture in any way shape or form- it is a revalation not from god. It is that simple. the Spirit would never contradict or alter Scripture. It is impossible for Him to do so!

-T. F. Torrance said; "We came up with the idea of inerrancy because we needed another mediator between God and man, other than Jesus. So we came up with a 'doctrine' we can't even be certain of because we don't even have the original manuscripts to create a 'certainty' out of. It is a western theology that we can come up with a doctrine we can be certain of, rather than a relationship." (I am assuming by "western" he is referencing the Latin speaking Roman Catholic church)

One of the most common biblical manuscripts used to make our modern English translations, is known today as the Nestle
Text. Yet it was Prof. Eberhard Nestle himself who warned us in his Einfhrung in die Textkritik des griechischen Testaments:
"Learned men, so called CORRECTORES were, following the church meeting at Nicea 325 AD, selected by the church
authorities to scrutinize the sacred texts and rewrite them in order to correct their meaning in accordance with the views
which the church had just sanctioned."

St. Jerome wrote: "They write down not what they find but what they think is the meaning; and while they attempt to rectify the errors of others, they merely expose their own" (Jerome, Epist. lxxi.5).

This last quote of Jerome was in reference to how bad the koine Greek manuscripts were, which Jerome was translating into Latin. We have NO original autograph Koine Greek manuscripts at all today.
