What's the difference b/t a nice worldly person and a nice Christian?

One is born from above and speaks of eternal things, the other isn't and speaks mainly of things of earth.

On the outside these two individuals may look Identical, but the difference between the two is what indwells them....The Christian is Saved and the Worldly Man is not......The Christian gets Saved NOT because he is “ nice”.......He gets Saved because he has the Holy Spirit in him .....if one does not have that Spirit in Him—- “ They are NONE of His.”

The World is Full Of “Good Neighbor Sams”.....Worldly Nice people are all over the place.....unfortunately , “ niceness” is not part of the criteria for Salvation.....Trusting Jesus to Save you because deep inside you are not “ nice enough “ to Save Yourself is the criteria for being Saved....being nice beats the heck out of being bad, but even the nicest guy is “ DEAD in Trespasses and Sin” and must Turn to God with Faith in Jesus Christ to be made Alive......

The Worldly man, by definition has not turned to God—— he does not see the absolute Need for Him...Christians “ HAVE” turned to God....the Former is damned and the Latter is Saved ....THERE is your Difference.....

Face value difference. Nothing different.
People on Earth being "nice" to one another, is a behavior among men, that such behavior is pleasant among men, regardless of a religious aspect.
Meaning: people can be NICE to one another, without even knowing what either Spiritually believes.

Who is it we are to judge? Who among us can see and understand perfectly the heart of every man? Is the answer not the reason why the judgement is not ours... but God's? Knowing the written words of scripture does not let us see all that God sees.

That's just it! We don't know.

It's not enough to just look at a man and declare him righteous! Mother Teresa, Ghandi, the fact that we approve of their works doesn't mean God does.

Yes, looking at people's works just won't give us a full picture. Someone can have the most wonderful 'seeming' works in the world, but if you do not honor the Son, you do not honor the Father, no matter what one's works may look like to one's self.

Your right my friend , if one has not the Spirit of GOD they are none of HIS . AND IF WE DO have the SPIRIT then the body is dead
because of sin . Just a friendly reminder to let those who exhort us to continue in Christ and sin not .
For if we have THE SPIRIT IN US , we would be exhorting the brethren daily , LEST any does become hardened through
the deceitfulness of sin . THUS be ye hearers and doers of word . FOR if any man be a hearer only , that man has deceived himself .
Every warning and every reminder that JESUS and those apostles gave , works good to the doer of those .

I've heard something that makes a lot of sense to me, that one way the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are the children of God is in our hatred of our sins.

'nice' is not an attribute which draws me. It pushes me away just like those effuse with truisms. It has the image of godliness but denies it's power....it matters not which quadrant it comes from.
