There are a lot of recreational sites in the area, certainly.

Plenty of good hotels also; with a lot of competition; and good, competitive flights.

I was there for Somebody Loves You Crusade; I don't remember why else we were in the area.

Sounds like there was plenty to do there...

There have been documentaries on Youtube about tattoo parlors in Las Vegas. (If you like that sort of thing.)

I believe that Las Vegas McCarran airport is among the top 30 or 40 in the world, by passenger numbers.

I wonder if it's cold and snowy now in Vegas?

Airport magazine has currently a feature on Las Vegas airports. McCarren is indeed very close to the mountains.
