Anyone who wants to do a search on "mother of God" will find out that there is not one single use of this phrase anywhere in the entire Bible. Calling Mary the "mother of god" is blasphemy of the first order!

Sola scriptura! The Bible is the sole infallible source of authority for Christian faith and practice.

try Lk 1:43

or Matt 16:18-19 and Matt 18:18
Bound on earth by the authority Christ gave the apostles is bound in heaven!

but you cannot reject the divinity of Christ!

never said mother of the divine nature of God!
But the mother of Jesus who is God!

and it is decreed by the apostolic tradition of the in a council of the church!

Mother of God
Council Of Ephesus – 431 A.D.

If anyone does not confess that Emmanuel is God in truth, and therefore that the holy virgin is the mother of God (for she bore in a fleshly way the Word of God become flesh) let him be anathema.

and always believed and taught by the holy apostles in the church founded by Christ on Peter

Only the sects founded by men reject it, they are in error the tradition of men!

evidence?

Evidence
Eusebius AD 314, in his second book against Sabellius, expressly declares that since a word is not in Scriptures, it is not satisfactory to him. He speaks to the following effect: "As inquiring into truths which admit of investigation, it is indolence, so prying into others, where scrutiny is expedient is audacity. Into what truths then ought we to search? Those truths we find recorded in the Scriptures. But what we do not find recorded there, let us not search after. For had the knowledge of them been incumbent on us, the Holy Spirit doubless would have placed them there."

"Let us not hazard ourselves in such a risk, but speak safely; and let not anything that is written be blotted out."

"Speak what is written, and stife will be abandoned."

So if a person stands on the plain words of Christ when he walked this earth, the catholic church states they are anathema?

The passage you reference says nothing like that. And since Scripture never mentions your contention, I have to relegate what you are saying is false teaching; and false teaching comes directly from your gods: Satan and his Queen.

was Jesus born of Mary?

did He come thru Mary?

He is the source of all graces! Jn 1:16:17 and He came to us thru Mary! Also lk 1:28 & heb 4:16

Most people understand that when the Bible says the name "Jesus" it is clearly understood to mean "Jesus Christ". Duh!

You're actually using the Bible to prove a point? Did you get permission from the priest?

try Lk 1:43

Mother of God
Council Of Ephesus – 431 A.D.

That is SO amusing! The council of Ephesus was held in the Church of Mary. That is the church where Mary was buried!!

And as for her magical assumption, which was discovered by some pope 2000 years later. it is amusing that the Apostle John with whom she lived, never mentioned her once in all his writings. Wow!! If she magically left her grave, if there was anyone who would know about it it would have been John!! <giggle>

No! Jesus had no mother, father, nor beginning of days. He existed before the foundation of the world. Mary merely delivered the Word turned flesh to be crucified.
She only provided a carcass.

Other than taking a little time out to drop off a baby, she did nothing in the church, like the apostles who gave their lives for their faith.

so Matt 28:19 is not the inspired word of God or the eternal words of Jesus Christ!

the church has only for 2000 yrs baptized in the method Jesus commanded in Matt 28:19
Heretics fundamentalists etc do whatever they like, but they are not valid baptisms either !

You have a poor attempt to evade the scriptures.

Matthew is not the only account of the great commission...

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Now let's see what the apostles did with that...

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 8:14-16 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus

Now show me the scriptures where they used "Father, Son, Holy Ghost"

Matt 28:19 teaching authority of Christ in His church!

Nonsense!

Matthew 28:18-20, "Then Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Where do you see "teaching authority of Christ in His church"? He is telling His disciples to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything He commanded them. No mention of a church or denomination -- none. He is telling them to evangelize the world, which they did. No mention of a church or a denomination; that is Catholic nonsense.

acts 2:38 does not say be baptized in the name of Jesus!

it says in the name of Jesus Christ!
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus...

Ask your priest to help your reading skills.

Well Mary can't be the Queen of Heaven, as she is awaiting the resurrection as is everyone else

John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Matthew 27:51
And, behold, the veil of the templewas rent in twain from the top to thebottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

the veil symbolized the fact that heaven was closed since the fall of Adam!

rev 12:1 queen in heaven with a crown

matt 16:18 18:18 bound on earth bound in heaven by the authority Christ gave his apostolic church

APOSTOLIC CONSTITUTION OF
POPE PIUS XII
MUNIFICENTISSIMUS DEUS
DEFINING THE DOGMA OF THE ASSUMPTION
1950

“We pronounce, declare, and define it to be a divinely revealed dogma: that the Immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.”

Mother of God
Council Of Ephesus – 431 A.D.

If anyone does not confess that Emmanuel is God in truth, and therefore that the holy virgin is the mother of God (for she bore in a fleshly way the Word of God become flesh) let him be anathema.

Lk 1:43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

Biblical Mary, mother of God, ever Virgin, sinless, mother of our salvation!

Mother of God Lk 1:43

Immaculate conception (sinless) gen 3:15 enmity or total war none of satans works are found in Mary!
Also Lk 1:28 full of grace lk 1:49 great things plural (immaculate conception of Mary and the miraculous conception of Jesus) Rev12:1 woman clothed with the sun. Immaculate purity

Without Mary being immaculate the Holy Spirit could not conceive the “holy” son of God in Her!

Lk 1:30 found favor with God (the salvation lost by Adam) mother of our salvation Lk 2:30 and cos she consented to our salvation! Lk 1:38

Perpetual Virgin Isa 7:14 matt 1:21
Lk 1:31-34

Spiritual Mother Jn 19:26-27 rev 12:17

Mother of the creator is mother of all creation!

Mother of the Redeemer is the mother of all the redeemed!

Mother of our Savior is the mother of all those who obtain salvation!
Lk 1:30

All generations call me blessed! Lk 1:
Thanksgiving in praise of Mary for bearing our savior! Matt 1:23 And finding our salvation! Lk 1:30

Praise honor veneration and devotion redound to the Glory of God who created Mary immaculate Lk 1:49 as Christ source of all grace! Jn 1:16-17

Praise, honor, veneration, and devotion are not worship, worship requires intent!

he would never oppose the decrees of an apostolic council or the teaching authority of Christ in the ordinary magisterium

Jesus Christ extends his mission, power, and authority to His church of His apostles!

Even His judging!
Matt 19:28
His teaching authority!
Matt 28:19 and Jn 20:21
His power to forgive sins!
Jn 20:23
His being the light of the world!
Matt 5:14
His ministry of reconciliation!
2 cor 5:18
His authority in governing the church and administering the kingdom!
Matt 16:18-19 & 18:18 Jn 21:17
Lk 22:29
Apart from me you can do nothing. Jn 15:5
So the church is subject to Christ!
Eph 5:24
Christ shares His glory! 2 thes 1:10 rev 12:1

Jesus Christ continues HIS ministry in His new covenant church thru Peter, the apostles, and their successors with the same mission, power, and authority!
Mt 16:18 Mt 28:19 Matt 18:17 Acts 1:17 acts 8:31 & 35 acts 9:4 Lk 10:16 Jn 8:32 Jn 13:20 Jn 15:5 Jn 16:13 Jn 20:21-22 eph 2:20 acts 2:42 1 Tim 3:15

Fundamentalism drives a wedge between Christ and his church, separates Christ from His kingdom, and the authority of Christ from the new covenant!

1 Corinthians 16:22
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema

Extends to the truth and the church

Cos Christ is the truth and His church teaches the truth without error! Jn 14:6 matt 28:19 matt 18:17 1 Tim 3:15 Jn 29:21-23 Jn 16:13

Christ and His church are one! Acts 9:4 eph 5:32

Authority of the Apostles!

What authority does Christ have?
What power does Christ have?
What mission / ministry does Christ have?

Peter, the apostles and their successors have the same authority, power, and mission! Jn 20:21 as my father sent me, even so send I you!

John 17:18
As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

The apostles are Christ’s successors!
They have authority to send others as well, apostle means one who is sent!

Therefore the apostles have authority to send more apostles or successors!
Apostolic succession!

The nations still need to be taught, disciples still need to be baptized and the church the new covenant kingdom of christ still needs to be governed!

Hebrews 3:1
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Christ is an apostle, and has authority to send other apostles, the apostles also have this authority, so the apostles continue down thru the centuries as Christ promised! Matt 28:19-20

Keys of authority! And power to bind and loose! Matt 16:18 and Matt 18:18 matt 28:19 Isa 22:21-22

Moral authority:
(Teaching)
Necessity of being taught by Christ:
Two edge sword: defining truth and condemning errors, and Interpreting scripture.

Jurisdictional authority:
(Governing / administering)
Necessity of Peter and the apostles and their successors to govern the holy church.

Spiritual authority:
(Life of Grace)
Sanctifying thru the mass and Sacraments

The apostles teaching is Christ’s teaching, Christ and His church are one! Acts 9:4

Christian rule of faith is not the Bible alone! But the doctrine of the apostles! Acts 2:42

Jesus Christ continues HIS ministry in His new covenant church thru Peter, the apostles, and their successors with the same mission, power, and authority!
Mt 16:18 Mt 28:19 Acts 1:17 acts 8:31 & 35 Lk 10:16 Jn 8:32 Jn 13:20 Jn 15:5 Jn 16:13 Jn 20:21-22 eph 2:20
