i think pure-hearted people are wherever you find them, but we should not dismiss the rich tradition of Catholic "Heretics" imo either. But i would not dismantle the established church even if i could. It obviously serves a purpose, for now. We are advised not to pull tares, but to let them grow, as counter-intuitive as that seems to us.

Altering my words into something I never said is slanderous, dishonest and childish. If you are unable to refute my posts, be smart and don't reply. If you wish to discuss OSAS with me, fine. My statement, that you butchered, had nothing to do with OSAS to begin with. It was a blanket statement aimed at the venom of anti-Catholic bigotry and lies, which is found all over the 'net.

Isn't butchering quotes by adding and changing words against the rules?

i think that is a reference to the condemnation and judgement based upon appearances that anyone might evince (just since my last post might seem to equate the RCC with tares, lol).

The quotations from the Bible, the word of God offends you? That figures. That is typical reaction from someone who does not follow the Bible, and would sooner rely on the traditions of an "infallible" human being in Rome, and his "infallible" religious system..
    Revelation 17 and 18, 2nd Thess 2,

Funnty thing is HTE is your are a staunch bible person, Christ asked us to follow Him never told us to follow any bible in fact He said quiet the opposite,

Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Joh 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
Joh 5:41 I receive not honour from men.

and as I said before , you wont go to Him and that is why you have no life,

1Co_8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

thats why we go to Christ as empty vessels so He can fill us.

When are you going to Him so He can fill you? Seems you haven't been there yet....but remember we are all works in progress, and will be until the end of the age, can judgement day...so it is good not to be arrogant and complacent....John 14.15

there are references to broken pots, and even marred pots...Jeremiah, Psalms, etc., that give clues to the nature of a good vessel, that can be related to our understanding, or the way we take things in

Whenever a clay pot he was working on was ruined, he would rework it into a new clay pot the way he wanted to make it.

which are reflected in a believer having a spiritual breakdown, "being emptied." Ignore all of the "wonderfully flawed" hits you might get searching this concept, or at least take them with a grain of salt imo; "earthen vessel" relates that symbology just fine, jars made of clay. The analogy of "wonderfully flawed vessels" is crap, and if you are a cracked vessel, you will keep getting emptied until you grasp how to become an "uncracked pot."

Revelation 17..the antichrist is indeed hidden in plain sight...it is alive in Rome, and has been for 1800 years, but thankfully in Revelation 18 God destroys this evil counterfeit, satan controlled religious system...

I expect it would be too much for you to give some evidence for you claims since there is none,

The only evidence you ever give is of your anti-Catholic bigotry.

i think it's pretty easy to demonstrate that it is as spurious to imagine that you can point to antichrist as it is to imagine that the kingdom exists in some unrealized afterlife, as is so often pointed at so confidently; whether we like the conclusions that must be drawn from that or not, as believers. You might notice that, for your entire life, no exceptions, it has always been "now." Removing the kingdom to somewhen else is as antichrist as it gets imo.

Pointing at whatever and definitively labeling it "antichrist" is only going to leave antichrist free to reign in the other domains that concern you, as you Scripturally condemn yourself, it seems to me.

Mungo you have trouble reading Revelation 17 and other Bible chapter and verse I presented? Obviously you do...that comes from the Roman religious system banning Bibles over the centuries, they did not want people to actually read it for themselves...that persecuting traditions would explain your lack of interest in Biblical quotes...
But be sure and read the website" The antichrist is hidden in plain sight" It will help you understand the Bible.

    heretoeternity,
I have no trouble reading Revelation 17 or any other Bible chapter. But just saying read chapter 'x' or 'y' does not present evidence for anything. You need to present particular verses and what you interpret by them. You seem to have a problem with that because I think you do not understand what you are talking about. You just present vague assertions with no credible evidence to back them up. I suspect you have immersed yourself in web sites that have the same low standards as yourself and cannot bring any critical faculties to bear on them.

I am ready to discuss issues you have with Catholic teaching if you can actually present an issue without just being insulting and with some credible evidence to back up your claims.

Worshippers of the anti-Christ spread lies about the banning of Bibles. There was a small area in France where false bibles were being passed around. They were so false, no Protestant today would accept them. They were destroyed and replaced with approved bibles. There is no historical evidence of outright banning of bibles. The anti-Christ is pulling you around by the nose and you love it. I hope you get a chance to tell your doctor about your paranoid delusions.

Luther's Protestant Bible came out 1520 and before his Bible the Catholic Bible had been translated into Spanish, Italian, Danish, French, Norwegian, Polish, Bohemian, Hungarian and English, there was exactly 104 editions in Latin; 38 editions in German language, 25 editions in Italian language, 18 in French. In all 626 editions of the Bible with 198 in the language of the laity, had been edited before the first Protestant Bible was sent forth into the world.

"banning Bibles over the centuries"??? You are either profoundly ignorant or profoundly ill, fed by anti-Catholic Rev. 17 liars selling hate. You eat it up.

Get off your computer and go do some good in the community. Find an educated pastor that can guide you out of your sick obsession.

The site is collection of unsubstantiated claims, unverifiable quotes, absurdities and lies.

    Take these statements:

"When the Roman Empire (the 4th beast of Daniel 7) collapsed, it split into 10 kingdoms. Then the Little Horn (the Roman Catholic Church) appeared. Three of the kingdoms were destroyed (plucked up) by the Papal Church because they wouldn’t bow down to their authority.....
They subdued and destroyed three of the ten kingdoms (the Heruli, Ostrogoths and Vandals) who did not bow down to them."

No evidence for any of this is provided. It's just asserted and you are supposed to believe it. But it neither fits Daniel 7 nor the facts of history.

I suggest you read the following link because it totally destroys this claim. It is in response to a claim by a Seventh Day Adventist who made the same claim about the papacy uprooting the 3 horns, and them being the Heruli, Ostrogoths and Vandals. It also destroys the claim that the Roman Empire split into 10 kingdoms.

An excellent site, Mungo, but heretoeternity won't read it. It won't feed his hate addiction.

He's already been warned once by a moderator.

I do not read the false claims and writings of the Roman religious system...they have proven to be non Biblical, Non Christian, and strictly aimed at furthering the satanic objectives of that religious system...
As your roman religious system does not like the Holy Bible, you should try reading actual history of the pagan Roman religious system, and it's banning and burning of Bibles, it's murder of millions of people who would not convert to it's false counterfeit religious system...it's all historical fact...
Do not try and shift the blame to "protestants", who are, in fact, daughters of thhis false religious system as per Revelation 17, 18 and 13 and 2nd Thess 2 3&4

    heretoeternity,

You present NO historical facts - just your bigoted assertions.

You need to real some real history - not the bigoted, unhistorical anti-Catholic nonsense that you are immersing yourself in.

What you are declaring is that anything a Catholic writes is automatically wrong.

    bigot
noun a person who is prejudiced in their views and intolerant of the opinions of others.(Concise Oxford English Dictionary).
a person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, esp on religion, politics, or race (Collins English Dictionary)
a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices (Merriam Webster Dictionary)
