Paraphrasing what it says to me in study(wrong or right) continued…
let no one say when he is tempted,
“God tempts”
for God cannot be tempted by evil
…such as, that which is born of God cannot sin.
God Himself does not tempt. (Is God made a Temptress?)
Each is tempted
When he is carried away, swept away and consumed by his own lust
each are enticed by his own lust.
When lust is conceived,
It gives birth to sin,
When sin is accomplished
Sin brings forth death. “That sin might become exceedingly sinful” be heavy—exceedingly heavy— you sinners and mourn, humble yourself, and Christ will lift you up.
Don’t be deceived my beloved brother. (James, a bond servant of God and of the Jesus Christ…to the twelve tribes dispersed abroad), be not deceived. He will throughly purge his floor; and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable. (Imo: With a fire that cannot be quenched so that, that which it outward —the rich man’s glory that fades away —carried away in his own lust, enticed by his own lust, giving birth to sin, and sin when fully conceived bringing forth death—a fire never to be quenched, sin to be burned and destroyed with fire, sin never to rise up again. To be burned and destroyed with fire no man can quench, sin conceived that brings forth death, being that which is removed by the circumcision of Christ Jesus for the removal of sin within the body. Faith “Tested” by fire “knowing the testing of your faith produces”—to work out, work down to the end-point, to fashion, render on fit for a thing—produces endurance
Perseverance, Character
Character, hope
Sin within the body destroyed, the chaff, not to prevent that which is within, the wheat: be not deceived “beloved brethren” no longer a servant to sin, but above a servant “a dearly beloved brother” in Christ.
Philippians 4:8-13 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. [9] Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. [10] But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein you were also careful, but you lacked opportunity. [11] Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. [12] I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. [13] I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
I know both how to be abased
And I know how to abound
Every where
In all things
I’m instructed both
To be be full
And to be hungry
To abound
And to suffer need
let the brother of humble circumstances, glory in his high position. (1 Corinthians 3:18-23 ) God has given us all things in Christ, whether in this life, or the one to come. All things are yours. As it is written? God brings down the proud man, and exalts the humble and gives strength to the poor.
Let the rich man glory in this, his humiliation. Knowing his beauty will fade and he will perish in his pursuits.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trail. I’ve learn both…how to be abased not to be found in Him having my own righteousness, but the righteousness which is of God, and of the Lamb. For I counted it all dung, which I suffered the loss of all things…
Yet I have learned “both” how to be abased, and how to abound, I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me. Whether abased, or abounding. For as He said he who suffers the loss of all things, truly gains all things in Christ….having received the promise of Life in Christ unto those who love and wait for His appearance. So, not I, but Christ Lives. Is Paul saying: Do not Glory in the flesh , your glorying is not good…instead you should have mourned. do you not know the rich man is consumed and destroyed in his own lust, carried away in his Lust? Do you not know God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. Let the humble rejoice in this, for his high position in Christ Jesus , for a Light has risen and abounds in every place, in all things through Christ who strengthens.
