For who so ever shall call on the glorious name of the LORD shall be saved .
Yes indeed .

Acts 2:21 is a principle. Seeing that there is none "righteous" and that "no one seeks after God", how then can anyone call upon His name? NONE! Romans 3:10-11.

That if you will believe from the heart that God has rose Christ from the dead and confess with the mouth you shall be saved .
To "confess with the mouth" means to have the same mind with God and to do will of God only, and if born again, not only to "admit" we are sinners.

To believe means "we hang our lives" on Him. This does not mean to "acknowledge."

Deuteronomy 6:25, 10:16; Ro. 3:4, 10-11; 9:32. Jer.17:9.

To "believe" and to "confess' are the result of salvation and NEVER the cause.

That's exactly my sentiments! No reprobate gives honor and praise to God but only after he becomes saved.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 2 Corinthians 9-16.

'repentance' means "STOP sinning"? Sinners CANNOT "STOP sinning," Because
THEY ARE IN "Bondage!" +
NO! God Has NO SIN TO "REPENT" OF:

HE Did "Change HIS Mind {Repent}" Many Times":
(Genesis 6 : 6; Amos 7 : 3, 6; Zechariah 8 : 15 KJB! + Many More!)

Thus, "repent" Means "to Change our mind" about sin, And "Admit TO
God That
"sin Is WRONG, And that we Have OFFENDED HIS Pure HOLINESS,"
Transgressing HIS "HOLY Law!" Amen? And, THEN, Do THIS:

Precious friend(s). God's Will, Today, Under HIS PURE GRACE? Very Simply:

(1) believe, 100% trust, place Total faith, In The LORD JESUS CHRIST, HIS
Death {Precious BLOOD}, Burial, And HIS Resurrection, According To The
Scriptures! (
1 Corinthians 15:3-4; cp Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3-5 KJB!)

Results: all sins Forgiven, Eternal Life, And, Peace With God!
Then, "submitting To God Daily - HE Will Help"
us to sin less & LESS!

(2) Fulfil ALL Of His Law, In "ONE Word: LOVE thy neighbor as thyself!"
(
Galatians 5:14; Romans 13:8-10 KJB!)

(3) "Study" HIS Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided, for "Approval!"
(
2 Timothy 2:15 KJB!)

Eternal Results: reward, ruling, and reigning With CHRIST!

Precious friend(s): Please Be Very Richly Blessed!

That’s completely erroneous.

It doesn’t say when already saved you will believe and confess, it says IF you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you SHALL be saved - not, you already are saved.

It goes on - FOR with the heart we believe unto righteousness and with the MOUTH confession is made UNTO SALVATION. For, whosoever SHALL call upon the name of the Lord, SHALL be saved.

Even after coming to faith, we still must CHOOSE to confess our faith with our mouth, AND choose to call upon His name, to be saved.

Shalom.

Still, you have NOT gotten the gist of Romans 3:10-11. Read it carefully and understand what those verses declare against your comments above!

Furthermore, read Jeremiah 17:9 and try if you can reconcile it with Romans 10:9!

I’d say it’s Calvinists that distort the scriptures to make them fit their dogma, which makes them get salvation exactly backwards.

Scripture is crystal clear that faith precedes grace and salvation, yet Calvinists insist salvation precedes faith and grace

Ephesians 2 makes it clear that we get grace THROUGH FAITH, so faith comes first,

and not that grace/salvation precedes faith.

Acts 16 makes it clear to the jailer that to be saved He must first BELIEVE.

The Romans 10 passage refutes reformed dogma, by stating that faith comes by hearing the word of God preached in verse 17 - and doesn’t say that faith comes from the elect being regenerated first, so that they can believe.

I find it interesting that when Jesus explained the new birth to Nicodemus, He also included an allusion to His death and resurrection (Jn 3:13-14).
Many skip over that point and say 'Just believe in Jesus' without further explanation.

After God gave me the Holy Spirit, by read the 10 commandments, I found proof that TV, movies, watching sports (violence like football, covet their lives and they are idols), novels, music, video games and computer games are all sins, except Christian stuff that don’t have sins like sermons and very few Christian music that gives messages. I found out that in them there is lying, stealing, adultery (Matthew 5:28 looking at someone with lust is adultery), fornication which is sex before marriage, revenge, murder, jealousy, pride=self-pity, hypocrisy, using God’s name in vain as a curse word, they are all idols (breaks 2nd Commandment) because most people can’t live without them and they love them more than God and more. Just read the 10 commandments for a list. You must remove all sources of sin.

Go to link on how God gave me the Holy Spirit.

Try the two love commands that superseded the Decalogue.

There are secular moves, tv shows and music that are just fine to watch, and many that aren’t.
And Paul relates the Christian life and walk to sports. Sports are fine in their place, as long as God has first place.

These posts miss the key point. Regardless of what you confess and believe, you're not saved until you experience regeneration through the Holy Spirit. Experiencing the Spirit is an experience of power. Words and assent to certain doctrines are not sufficient.

Romans 10:8-13 differs with your claim.

Confess with your mouth your belief in your heart, and call on His name, and you will be saved.

When we are saved, regeneration occurs.

The above must be read in light of the following passages:
10) "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, no one:
11) There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God
"
Romans 3:10-11

Jesus declared: "No man can come to me, except the Father [DRAW] him."
John 6:44

No it's the opposite!
"NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost."

Your problem is that in Romans 10:8-13 it specifically says that it’s how the apostles say we are saved.

Calvinism is refuted several ways:

1. Scripture says God gives all men a measure of faith. Romans 12:3

2. Romans 10:17 goes on to say that faith comes from hearing the word of God.

3. Jesus sad that after His crucifixion, He will DRAW ALL MEN unto Himself. John 12:32

Hearing the word of God gives sufficient faith to be saved the Romans 10:8-13 way.

Our free will allows us to resist the Holy Spirit, and reject salvation, it’s our choice. Acts 7:51

Your problem is that in Romans 10:8-13 it specifically says that it’s how the apostles say we are saved.

Do you know how many "if" words in verse 9 there are in the Bible?

What about verse 10 seeing that we we read in Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Verse 11, who will believe in Him since Scripture stipulates: "There is none that seeks after Him, no, not one."

Again verse 13, "Who will call upon the name of the Lord?" N-O-N-E. Except those whom the Father D-R-A-W.

Your Calvinism is refuted several ways:

I don't understand why you and your kind hate Calvin. Without him and the Reformers, salvation will never have been understood. Man is spiritually dead and has no life in him when concerning the things of God.

1. Scripture says God gives all men a measure of faith.

True. Faith is a gift He gave to some and the rest He gave them up unto vile affections. Romans Chapter 1.

2. Romans 10:17 goes on to say that faith comes from hearing the word of God.

The only ones who will hear the word of God are those whom He predestined to salvation before the foundation of the world.

3. Jesus sad that after His crucifixion, He will DRAW ALL MEN unto Himself.

Again you must qualify the word "all." This verse is better rendered: "I will draw all those He came to save." That is ALL His people from their sin [Matthew 1:21].

Our free will allows us to resist the Holy Spirit, and reject salvation, it’s our choice.

As I've asserted above, man in and of himself is spiritually dead. He has no capacity to reject or accept the Holy Spirit, or salvation. I could give you an illustration but you will not accept it. Just as the Jews did not believe in Jesus.
