I could get in but all it said is "You are banned", Reason: goading. I couldn't access anything else, period.

I'm still a member of CF.com and I get tired of arguing with liberals, atheists and pseudo Christians (especially in the political threads) on that forum. I also get tired of the mods attacking Christians over nit picky rule violations when correcting false teachers, while the false teachers get away with perverting the gospel all they want. That site has been hijacked by multiple Seventh Day Adventists who continually promote their perverted gospel of "salvation by grace plus law, faith plus works." I recently got a firm warning from one of the mods there for referring to one particular SDA on that site as a "crafty SDA" and he wasted no time at all reporting me to the mods. The truth hurts and he needed to hear it! False teachers on that site do their very best to get people banned who disagree with them.
Mods and site owners have their agendas...to do a good job you can't have one. You have to be opinion free up to a point. And that's practically impossible. Dispassionate is easier to do.
And they all get heady with the power of their little governance. We like to be surrounded by people who agree with us. But it creates information bubbles and truth doesn't enter into an information bubble. And coupled with power...just about any thoughts other than your own is ejected and rejected... sometimes forcefully.
Which is exactly what Jesus ran into with the Pharisees and experts in the Law.
And the USA has been guilty of this on many occasions even though they proclaim they are a stronghold of something vastly different.
But as far as internet forums and small businesses go... management is responsible for 80% of all failures...and 90% of all small businesses fail.
And if you don't have to pay for the use of a service or forum... YOU are the product they are selling. And if they are not allowing the free expression of the Jesus you know you know...leave. They aren't allowing Christians on the site...only a jesus of their own making.

Very interesting dream. You were seeing how both groups of men act like each other. One group is of the world. The others group seems to think they aren’t of the world but they clearly are. I remember when God used to instruct me in my sleep like that all the time, when the part of me that would argue with Him was conked out. He doesn’t instruct me like that any more. He gives me understandings while awake now.I believe conservatives and liberals can learn from each other. I think there are Christians on both sides that lose sight completely in politics.
I had a couple dreams before, that I feel lead to share...
First I was on a subway car/monorail, and I was traveling fast through the darkness on one of the seats. I looked out my window and there were two men arguing politics in the spotlight of the darkness. One was Republican and one was Democratic. They were both yelling so loud they could not hear each other, and they were beginning to get physically fighting with one another.
The second dream I was sitting in a chair and had my Bible on my lap. I opened it up and there were two men that popped up like in a pop up book, only they were moving and had the Words of the Bible all over them. They were again yelling and shouting over each other and couldn't hear one another.
I think there are spirit filled conservatives and liberals too.
I think there are spirit filled believers also who are messed up in some areas theologically.
I think believers hurt each other with their words and it completely shuts down conversation.
Truth needs to be taken up for, but I think it is all in how the Truth is delivered that can make a difference in what someone believes. And sometimes silence is best when the heart isn't ready to hear something. Some things need time to take root.
You saw both groups of men while traveling through darkness, which is significant.

I knew i recognized some of you from Christianforums. Honestly i see so much less talk about politics on here and i love that. I also found it difficult that when i posted on there i would have athiests disagreeing with me and i felt people were very disrespectful. They werent there to listen or learn, they just wanted to force their opinions on others. That site went to the far left in a hurry, dont even know how it happened so fast. I couldnt stand posters constantly quoting me and replying with sarcasm

I got banned for life there. Got into a mild argument with a posting mod, and since I broke no rules, he decided to go back and give me a warning on a post from several days before, just out of spite, lol. I appealed, lost, then mentioned it on the boards and that was it...they were aching for an excuse to get rid of me.

They have leftist mods that are liberal and get angry at you when you quote the bible on anti-gay things. I got warned in one of those discussions there.
I used to mod on CF a long time ago... I thought I'd like it, but it wasn't what I thought it would be... I've been on CF since 2005 and there are gems on there just like on here. Just kinda depends on what you are looking for and what gems you personally want to plant as well. I wish there was a way to remove things like the political threads that are always on the bottom. (Side on computer). Because honestly, if you go into the recovery sections, prayer and encouragement, even fellowship... Community hang out... There is so much ministry opportunity...just to share the love of Jesus and find encouragement from each other. There are a lot of good people on there. There is a great divide everywhere though in politics/theologies, etc. I've started to soley look offline for my leaven in those areas and read to glean here and there. I do not feel knowledgeable enough to say what is right or wrong.
But I have hope for CF just like I have on CB. And I have seen breakthroughs on CB too. More as I looked at the transformations and focused in my own life, but God just overall working in this forum. And I believe He will do the same in all believers' hearts.

Well some things I am solid on. I have strong conservative values. As far as teaching though, I just stay on the surface. I would rather invest my energy in areas people are willing to listen in. I've been pulled into it/walked into things before though.
After having been out of all Christian fellowship for 12 years, I joined C.F. On my first day, I mentioned something regarding the gift of tongues. Lol
Two mean-spirited guys with what I believed were religious spirits (demons) instantly got in my face, demanding that I back down on my position. I refused. I got spammed out of access and my virus alarm went off. I thank the Lord that He kept me looking for somewhere until I came here. Those people are going to have a lot of explaining to do with God. I've been further left than any of those people. I was raised by a socialist!
My first day here, I ran into what seemed like the same two guys! But bless my heart and bless my soul, someone came to my rescue. Lol

Ten people in this one thread... So sad Cf.com has left y'all feeling this way...I've been more active on there recently and quite a bit different of a person then I used to be years ago. I am still nonconfrontive for the most part though, which is probably why I haven't got warnings or anything like that. I hold strong to conservative views, but I just have found I can help online more in areas if I just defend them if asked. Not purposely put myself in that position. I hate the topics that stand out on the bottom though. I've blocked some I don't have any ill feelings towards, but just to remind me not to read their stuff since it just saps my spirit.

I've been active on there, and found no problems with it. Yes, it does seem slow at times because there are not a lot of people active at one time. Then I am in a different time zone than most in the US, so that could be a reason. But I tend to be controversial in my posts and that seems to generate plenty of feeback.

CF and CB were once owned by the same person, at the very least. This is obvious from the fact that the site design is exactly the same, and Brent was the primary Admin for both sites in the very beginning.
It would appear they are owned by different people now, however, because they certainly operate in two different ways and for what appears to be two different purposes. CF is a money-making machine. CB is dedicated more towards genuine discussion of religious issues, and in a fair and impartial manner.

I got kicked off CF because I wouldn't compromise my position that evolution is a religion and that the RCC is a fraud. I paid money to become a supporter of CF, but when they kicked me out, they certainly didn't refund my money!
