it is funny

God turns me from a dog into his child. then we somehow miraculously turn ourself back into being a dog. How is this done?

By our works we are known. I suggest those who live a licentious life are not the children of God, regardless of what they claim.

The Lord Gods Judgement, BEGINS with IS the individual Converted...OR NOT.

The Judgement of a converted man's "works" are also Judged.
IF....BIG IF...the man does works to glorify God..."rewards" called "treasures" are stored up IN Heaven, to be "given" the man AFTER Judgement.
AND ALL WORKS of a converted man, which such WORKS did NOT produce glorifying fruits, unto the Glory of God....
SHALL BE BURNED.

A mans WORKS, does not Save the man.
A mans WORKS, does not Keep the man Saved.
Only the WORKS of the Lord God can Save a man.
Only the WORKS of the Lord God can KEEP a Saved man, SAVED.

A man whom you may observe as morally depraived, can very well be, Saved and Born Again (having a lasting relationship WITH the Lord God)....while struggling with addiction to drugs, alcohol, sex, short temper, cunningness, insecurities, being battered, inept reasoning capabilities, diseases, finance difficulties, debt, etc. etc. ... NOT one iota changes their Salvation or being born Again.
* It does however impact a loss of "rewards" they shall receive.
* That is typically, a person (saved and born again), who does not know HOW TO, sincerely ask the Lord God for HIS intervention.
* We can observe what the World repeatedly teaches 24-7....don't do drugs, DO DRUGS, Get a therapist, tell "them" all your issues, DO AS "they" say. Seek mens philosophies, Do as "they" say. Here Here, the government will gladly steal from one to give to another for umpteen man-made physical and psychological "treatments"!
* THAT IS NOT Scriptural teaching.
* But then ScripturaL teaching is NOT blasted in ones ears 24-7....but Worldly teaching and Worldly chemical compounds and Worldly philosophies (propoganda) ARE... from toddler age.

Also. did you know we only lose faith in those who fail us continually. time and time again of that person proving to be untrustwrothy. THEN we stop trusting them.

What did God do that is so untrustworthy that ANYONE who was born again by him would lost trust in God?

I was made a new creature. I am no longer a dog. I cant make myself one anymore. Because God made me into a new creature.

If you do “dog” things you are still a dog.

If you start doing “dog” things again, you have made yourself a dog again and have put off the new man.

Once you put on the new man, and ruin him with old man habits, you corrupt the new man.

It’s impossible to repent again to receive another new man again.

You can return to the vomit of the old creature while in the new creature.

That’s the whole point of this scripture:

"For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." (2 Peter 2:20-22)

Some corrupt teaching has you believing a lie that your new creature remains holy while sins are committed in the new creature.
