and those who impose on others are
Projecting internal issues.

but God did create math -- and it needed to be pointed out that, for example throughout the old testament there are three that are called God, treated as God and speak as God:

• the LORD ((ex. Deuteronomy 6:4))
• The Angel of the LORD ((ex. Exodus 3))
• and The Spirit of the LORD / Word of the LORD ((ex. Ezekiel 11:5))

and there is no question that there is only one God. yet God Himself says things like "Let Us make man" -- even in Genesis 1:1,

That's a fault with the commercialized world we live in. When a large group of human beings live for luxury and excess, environmental fallout will ensue.

In one respect, I find people falling for wanting what others have, simply because they think it impresses other people to think more highly (successful, worthy, important) of them.
I am not opposed to people "working" and obtaining excess. Without it, they could not offer work or charity to others.

How noble. Do you really think that most believers these day's would give their life for Jesus. John didn't when asked if he was with Jesus.

Of ALL people, FEW will "freely give" their Life "for and to" Jesus. Those that DO, are called "the converted" and "the FEW'.

i don't think God referring to Himself with a plural noun & singular verb is indicative of or a result of His holding many titles.
in fact i think that's almost incomprehensibly poor logic.

do you think it was a surprise to the angels?
i.e. did the angels ((who were clearly a witness to these things)) know that He has for example seven spirits before He said Adam has become like one of Us?
were they shocked? was this the beginning of the unveiling of a great mystery?
do you think Satan is omniscient?
so did Satan know who Jesus is, when he tested Him?
i am thinking, no way. Satan would not have tried these cheap tricks if he knew Who he was dealing with. Satan thought Jesus is only a man.
a lot of people today still think like Satan did -- only i think Satan figured it out, when he ((inside Judas)) was flattened by Christ saying I AM in the garden - and made Judas try to stop the crucifixion. so it's more precise to say, a lot of people today still think like Satan used to think.

I'm very iffy on the whole karma thing. Very iffy.

agree. we are saved through God's mercy -- i.e. we do not 'get what we deserve' which is the exact opposite of the notion of dharma/karma.
if karma were the way God operated His universe, there would be no salvation: no one is good; no one does what is right and no one is without sin -- all are worthy of condemnation and death.

in Hebrews 1 it is plain that God calls the Son, "God"

unbelieving pharisees delivered Him to death on the charge of blasphemy, because anyone and everyone understood by what He did and said that He was presenting Himself as equal to & identical to God. they refused to believe Him.
modern 'so-called-christians' are no different, rejecting the word of God in favor of youtube, and will die in their sins for their unbelief. see John 8.
