You are not to be judged for observing the Sabbath day
Colossians, "wrest[ed]", as usual, but you refuse to answer any line of inquiry which would show that, you think you are above questioning and do not have to answer (and like mailmandan, who skulks from the shadows afraid of challenge). You simply make assertions, and when challenged, turn a deaf ear and blind eye to that which challenges your position from scripture.

Psa_56:5 Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

2Pe_3:16 As also in all his [Pauls'] epistles [as Colossians], speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
They bruise the teats of God's word (Ezekiel 23:3,21) by their continual wringing and abuse all the night (Judges 19:25), and what should have been milk (1 Peter 2:2), comes forth as sour milk (Hosea 4:18).
So they will die because they refused the truth (Psalms 119:142,151), and teaching people to sin (1 John 3:4) all in the name of God (2 Timothy 3:1-9). Here is their reward for doing it:

Zec_14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Colossians 2, in depth, from the Bible:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Parts 1-4 Powerpoint (Part 4 was never recorded)

But like the Robert (disfellowshipped WTS), you refuse to even consider it, contrary to the scripture you say you believe:

1Th 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.
1Th 5:20 Despise not prophesyings.
1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Act_17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Pro 18:13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

Pro 18:17 He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.

Instead, what is practiced is theological cowardice:

Zec_7:11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

Act_7:57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,
But it was written, that they would flee the field of challenge:

Jos_23:10 One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.

You are not to be judged for observing the Sabbath day
Colossians 2 KJB, parallels Ephesians 2 KJB, and Hebrews 9-10 KJB. The language is the same. The "ordinances" in Colossians 2 deals with "shadows", such as the daily "meat and drink" offerings of a worldly sanctuary and carnal ordinances, the seasonal "feast days", the monthly "new moons", and the year based "sabbaths", in the singular, every 7 and 50th years, as Paul is citing Psalms 98:1-3; and Ezekiel 45:17 KJB with other texts. The Sabbath of the LORD thy God is always called "my [as in God's] sabbaths", and the others in Leviticus 23:4 onward are called "your [the peoples] sabbaths" [Leviticus 26:35 KJB] which are "beside [given in addition to] the sabbaths of the LORD" [Leviticus 23:38 KJB]. The Ten Commandmnents, including the Sabbath of the 4th Commandment, are "light" [Proverbs 6:23, Isaiah 8:20, 51:4 KJB], never a "shadow", are "spiritual" [Romans 7:14 KJB], never "carnal" [Hebrews 9:10 KJB].

Colossians 2:14 - “ordinances”
Ephesians 2:15 – “law of commandments contained in ordinances”
Hebrews 9:1 – “ordinances of divine service”
Hebrews 9:10 – “carnal ordinances”

Colossians 2:16 – “in meat, or in drink” [offerings]
Hebrews 9:10 – “meats and drinks” [offerings]

Colossians 2:12 – “also ye are risen with him”
Ephesians 2:6 – “raised us up together”

Colossians 2:16 – “a shadow of things to come”
Ephesians 2:7 – “in the ages to come”
Hebrews 9:11 – “of good things to come”
Hebrews 10:1 – “the law having a shadow of good things to come”, “those sacrifices”, “offered year by year”

Hebrews 9:9 – “was a figure”
Hebrews 9:23 – “the patterns”
Hebrews 9:24 – “the figures”
Hebrews 10:1 – “not the very image of the things”

Colossians 2:2 – “riches”
Colossians 2:3 – “treasures”
Ephesians 2:7 – “riches”

Colossians 2:11 – “of the flesh”
Colossians 2:13 – “flesh”
Ephesians 2:3 – “flesh ... the flesh”
Ephesians 2:11 – “in the flesh”
Ephesians 2:15 – “in his flesh”
Hebrews 9:13 – “flesh”
Hebrews 10:20 – “his flesh”

Colossians 2:14 – “the handwriting of ordinances”
Ephesians 2:15 – “the law of commandments contained in ordinances”
Hebrews 9:19 – “Moses ... to the law ... blood ... book”
Hebrews 9:22 – “by the law ... with blood”

Colossians 2:11 – “putting off the body of the sins”
Hebrews 9:26 – “put away sin”
Hebrews 10:4 – “take away sins”
Hebrews 10:9 – “He taketh away the first”

The immediate reference:

“Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:” – Colossians 2:16

“And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.” – Ezekiel 45:17

[ps. none of the Ten Commandments deal with carnal sacrifices, the context of Ezekiel 45 and its "ordinances" - see vs 14 for example]

The "ordinances" of type:

"ordinances" - Colossians 2:14 (like Passover)
"carnal" [sacrifices] - Hebrews 9:10
"worldly" - Hebrews 9:1
"shadow" - Colossians 2:17
"to come" [pointing to future, as type to antitype]- Colossians 2:16; Ephesians 2:17; Hebrews 9:11, 10:1

Now that is incomparable to the Ten Commandments, eternal the Law of God:

"Ten Commandments", "Law of God" - Exodus 34:28; Deuteronomy 4:13, 10:4
"spiritual" [all of it, obedience by faith and love] - Romans 7:14
"heaven" - Exodus 20:22
"light" - Proverbs 6:23; Isaiah 8:20, 51:4; Psalms 119:105
"Remember" [memorial, past] - Exodus 20:8

It's easy to ignore the study that I posted on these texts already, which I wrote. It's easy to turn a willingly blind eye to evidence when it doesn't suit your own sins and rebellion to God, even to Jesus commandment to repent [John 14:15; Exodus 20:6 KJB].

You might as well not read the Bible, since the NT is a lot of "paste" from the OT, and a lot of the OT is "paste" from previous prophets, see Samuel, Kings, Chronicles, Isaiah, Zechariah, etc, etc.

How much will you address?

No, God changed the Sabbath Day into the Sabbath Rest Day of God it never before was or could be UNTIL JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD ON IT as the Seventh Day since the foundation of the world FORESHADOWED.
The sabbath rest that remains today is the millennium, which will be the seven thousandth year from creation, or seventh day.

No, Jesus was slain and rose again before the foundation of the world, but God changed the Seventh Day Sabbath to First Day of the Week Sabbath according to Matthew 28:1; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; Acts 20:7; Acts 13:42, 44.

His perfect will be done
Yet you refuse to do it, you refuse to even consider it. You do your own will by your own admission.

Rom_2:18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;

Hos_4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Isa_42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he [Jesus] will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Psa 40:6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
Psa 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
Psa 40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
Psa 40:9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.

Psa 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

Psa 40:10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

Psa 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

Psa 119:151 Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.

Psa 40:11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

Psa_119:32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

Isa 30:8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
Isa 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
Isa 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
Isa 30:11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
Isa 30:12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
Isa 30:13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
Isa 30:14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.
Isa 30:15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

Pro_10:8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.

Psa_119:115 Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

No, Jesus was slain and rose again before the foundation of the world, but God changed the Seventh Day Sabbath to First Day of the Week Sabbath according to ... 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; Acts 20:7 ...

To God Be The Glory.
Acts 20:7 - (Koine Greek) εν δε τη μια των σαββατων (Transliterated) en de th mia twn sabbatwn

(Acts 20:7, is a final farewell visit by Paul, who was going around "confirming the churches", and always preached on Sabbath (Acts 16:8,11, 20:5,6; 2 Corinthians 2:12; 2 Timothy 4:13), and in this instance, after Sabbath was complete, they met again and continued in fellowship and preaching, and had a final farewell. There is no evidence of a 'Lord's supper' here (no footwashing, basin, towel, fruit of the vine, cup, etc)). This special gathering, was held at night from after about 6pm to midnight, until morning (sunrise), with two meals therein, to see Paul off. There is no repetition (cycle from week to week) of this event occurring in scripture, nor any weekly meeting established on the first [day] of the week here.
Just in the book of Acts alone, there are over 78 sabbaths explicitly recorded.

Acts 13:14,27,42,44, 15:21, 16:13, 17:2, 18:4, (20:6, 21:4, 28:14; Paul always waited seven days, so that he could keep the Sabbath with fellow Jews, and Proselytes (see Acts 2:10; 13:26,42-43,44,45-46,47-49, 14:1,2,15-16, 15:17,19,21, 17:17) and preach the gospel upon that sacred day (Acts 17:2), just as Jesus had; Luke 4:16-21).
1 Corinthians 16:2 - (Koine Greek) κατα μιαν σαββατων (Transliterated) kata mian sabbatwn

(1 Corinthians 16:2 is a unique passage which refers to an extra or special and personally/individually gathered collection taken up privately (not even regular offering, nor tithe/firstfruits, nor even at a church or synagogue (but at one's own individual home), for the specific poor in a specific place, Jerusalem, for the dearth/famine; Acts 11:28; 1 Corinthians 16:3 that had been prophesied) after the sabbath was over, for Paul to pick up later when he came by.) There is no evidence of any 'service', 'Lord's supper' (and all that goes with it), gathering of the body of believers, scripture reading, prayer, etc here. It's all a private individual matter.

Nothing about a change in any of these passages, and they even use the words sabbath in the koine Greek as the culmination of the weeks-end.

Except those truly born of the Holy Spirit.

1Jn_3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Luk_11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Jer_29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

It's like a rattlesnake den in here...

Back in your cages! Back in your cages!
There's a perfectly understandable reason for the tension and the passion in relation to this topic. The Sabbath question strikes at the very heart of people's motives and cuts away at their hypocrisy and declarations of faithfulness and belief in the word of God. For millennia this has been the case.
The Sabbath was the identifying mark for the Jews whereby pagan Rome was able to discern between them and other religions, and thus able to persecute them as rebels against the emperor.
Christians were then reluctant to be identified along with the Jews in order to escape persecution, and many gave up the Sabbath in favor of the pagan Sunday.
Sabbath keeping Christians of that time were in the majority, and did suffer, but not by the hand of pagan Rome, but at the hand of the rising papal power who had adopted the Roman day of the sun as her own, and set about enforcing it on the church who outside her jurisdiction, observed the biblical Sabbath.
Today, that battle between the days is going to escalate. Papal Rome in most of her recent encyclicals have magnified and promoted so called Sunday sacredness, and asking world bodies to observe Sunday universally as a day for family, climate change control, environmental regard, and godliness.
This discussion is not going away. It's between the commandments of man by which tradition is enforced by the church, and the commandments of God. This issue is soon to be the major political and religious issue of the age. It will be the dividing issue between those who obey God, and those who don't, but claim they do.
What would you expect of the approach of the mark of the papal beast if not passionate debate and division?

According to Judaism -

Saturday

The Jewish Sabbath (from Hebrew shavat, “to rest”) is observed throughout the year on the seventh day of the week—Saturday. According to biblical tradition, it commemorates the original seventh day on which God rested after completing the creation.

Except no where in scripture is there any reference, hint, verse, or passage, from Genesis to Revelation, that suggests even remotely or indirectly that the Sabbath was Jewish. It was, and will always be, the Lord's Day.

History would proclaim differently regardless of the books text, @Backlit. Yes the bible has scriptures in it but you can also take a look at external evidences friend. Judaism - The Sabbath was the website which was quoted from, take care friend. With you, I agree that Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath.

Actually I was wrong and found these too which are more evidences:

No other day has ever been sanctified as the day of rest. The Sabbath Day begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11; Isaiah 58:13-14; 56:1-8; Acts 17:2; Acts 18:4, 11; Luke 4:16; Mark 2:27-28; Matthew 12:10-12; Hebrews 4:1-11; Genesis 1:5, 13-14; Nehemiah 13:19.

The Nation of Israel was Jewish. In its Basic Laws, Israel defines itself as a Jewish and democratic state and the nation state of the Jewish people.

Jesus Christ came to preach to the Chosen nation of Israel, and the Children of Israel, and told his disciples to go out and preach to the lost sheep of Israel, in the context of the Gospels.

Yahweh, the national God of the ancient kingdoms of Israel and Judah. Tetragrammaton, the four Hebrew letters YHWH as the name of God, and various pronunciations given to them.

Hope all of this information helps you in understanding friend.

Hebrews are anyone descended from "Eber" (Genesis 10:21,24-25, etc), thus an Eber-ew.

Abram/Abraham was an "Hebrew" (Genesis 14:13). Abram/Abraham was not an Israelite, neither a Jew.

Joseph was an "Hebrew" (Genesis 39:14,17, 41:12). Joseph was an Israelite (Genesis 30:1,24), but was not a "Jew".

The midwives in Egypt were "Hebrew" (Exodus 1:15-16,19, 2:7,11). These were Israelites, and possibly (maybe) Jews (of Judah), but the texts does not say.

Moses was an "Hebrew" (Exodus 2:11). Moses was an Israelite (Genesis 29:34, 35:23) of the tribe of Levi (Exodus 2:1,2), not Judah.

Zipporah, Moses' wife, was a 'Midianite' (Exodus 2:21, 18:2). The Midianites (Genesis 25:4), came from Abraham and his other wife, Keturah (Genesis 25:1), thus they were Hebrews (descended through Abraham), but they were not Israelites (thus Midianites), neither Jews.

Gershom, the son of Moses and Zipporah was half Hebrew/half Midianite (Exodus 18:2).

It was only much later that the term "Jew" came to be used in association with Judah (the primary remnant tribe), Benjamin and Levi and other that might have been leftovers of the other ten scattered tribes (Acts 18:2; Galatians 1:13-14, 2:14-15, etc).

Hello @ReChoired

Israelite, descendant of the Hebrew patriarch Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel after an all-night fight at Penuel near the stream of Jabbok (Genesis 32:28). In early history, Israelites were simply members of the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

In liturgical usage, an Israelite is a Jew who is neither a cohen (descendant of Aaron, the first high priest) nor a Levite (descendant of early religious functionaries). The distinction is significant, for if a cohen is present for synagogue service, he must be called up first for the reading of the Law; he is then followed by a Levite. Normally, therefore, an Israelite is not called up until the third reading.

Misdirection and non-sequitur. I just showed from scripture that the Ten Commandments are not only for the "Jews". Try citing the Bible, the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. Encyclopedia Britannica is in error upon several points (for instance, see "Soul").

What many don't fully appreciate is the heart of God in establishing Israel as a nation in the first place. It wasn't done so that Israel could become the insular selfish nation it became. The whole purpose of establishing Israel was the same for establishing the church. To be a light and an example. To share the reality of a true all-powerful all-loving gracious merciful God with the world. To be a testimony against the errors of paganism and a teacher and guide to the true God. So when God gave Israel the ten commandments, it wasn't just for them. When God established the sanctuary and the associated laws and feast days and sacrifices, this was to bring Israel into closer harmony with their God, to create within them a passion for truth and righteousness and a love for God and neighbor. Sadly, it became nothing more that a get out of jail free card for themselves. They completely forgot, despite numerous reminders of God's care and desire for the nations round about, that they were there to share... Not to keep wrapped up for themselves.
That goes for the Sabbath particularly. God didn't just care that one small group of people rest every seventh day. He cared for all people and wanted all people to benefit from His goodness and presence. Hence strangers were always promised the same privileges as Israel. Hence the gentile nations became recipients of the gospel. Hence why the Sabbath is a day of the Lord gifted to benefit all men everywhere. It isn't up to the church, or anyone else, to change that. Hence why it's important for Sabbath keepers to share these truths with everyone and not be as Israel and keep it to ourselves.
