It is NOT a sin to NOT know things.... I think the problem comes from those who FEEL the need to teach doctrine that is heretical.
Some people believe you can lose your salvation... I find this HERETICAL.... I don't listen to such people... and in real life... I find them to
be the most judgemental brood of vipers ( since you seem to like that one so much... LOL )
There is a difference between just believing bad doctrine and teaching it.

If they can't lose their salvation then they can say, do or believe anything and it won't matter. Just like one OSASer recently said to me, "Your bully tactics and attempts to insult me are likened to the excrement of your mouth". But he thinks he can't ever lose his salvation.

I believe that God judges us according to what do and have done with all that we have received. Not everyone has received all that you have receive. To judge others based on your knowledge or beliefs is an unfair judgement. This is why in the end of the matter God alone is always able to render a fair judgement for He knows everything about everybody.

"But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12:48 In simpler words: Much is given, much is required!

Judgment Day will prove different.

But isn't our job to sow good seed to the best of our knowledge and abilities and allow the Spirit to convict? It seems to me that too many of us (including me) carry on as if it is our job to bring conviction.

How do you condemn a comment? I thought condemnation was a thing pronounced on sentient beings.

And bizarre, Satanic comments aren't limited to any school of theological thought, heretical or not, are they? Some of the meanest people I know advocate sound doctrine.

Well, it's just a horrible thing to say to someone. But I know lots of people who espouse eternal security who would never say something like that. When you say something like "That's OSAS for you!" you're very likely engaged in what is known as genetic fallacy. Like "No good thing could come from Nazareth."

Then why are OSASers totally silent here on the FILTHY comment? You only commented when forced to do so.

I do not believe in eternal security whatsoever, and I hate to break it to you, but I don't think you're going to have much luck purging the "OSASers" from the forum. I'm pretty sure it's not against forum rules to believe and express it.

I thought it was to debate the Scriptures, which I do.

Hi @Addy The Lord Jesus did say: "Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures" (Matthew 22.29). It's certainly the case also that it matters a lot about the spirit and attitude with which one advances ideas, right?

wrench like this.... UNBELIEVABLE.... you just accused me of issuing forth SATANIC comments....

The bible tells me... I am precious in HIS sight... that I belong to Him... that HE promises to finish in ME what HE has begun.
He sings over me with JOY. Not sure which God you are serving... but mine LOVES me and ALL HIS CHILDREN. My salvation is SECURE... If it were not... I would not even attempt to approach with my filthy rags of "goodness".
