Some things I would like to ask
@Truther for clarification. Do you believe:
Jesus IS the Father and the Spirit.....
No, Jesus was made the Father by default when He was fully indwelled by his Father
, so
Jesus is the true name of God?
Yes, God gave him his name by inheritance per Heb 1:4.
Do you believe that those who are baptized in the name of all three are Christians, or damned?
As long as they say Jesus, I don’t care if they say 10 other names. They have to verbally say Jesus Christ when they are baptizing a candidate. Notice how people do everything they can not to say Jesus Christ. It is a phenomenon. It is spiritual. Fact is, if someone fights off the name of Jesus in their baptism instead of complying with it, they are condemned.
Jesus is New Covenant, and the Father was Old Covenant?
No.
I'm trying to think of any other possibilities, but can't so how would you describe Oneness?
Ancient, first century oneness, taught the Father inside the son. This is a unification process. Modern oneness teaches the Father is the son. There is a distinct difference in the two teachings.
Please include your objections based on what you believe does not exist so we shouldn't believe it it.
The doctrine of God becoming human is Roman catholic in essence. I think we should re-look at all of this. I don’t think God became human. I think that a man was made God. Jesus was made a quickening spirit upon resurrection which is God. It’s in first Corinthians 15.
Also, are there any other beliefs that are different other than baptism? Do you believe in the power of Jesus to cleanse us of our sin nature so that we do not willfully sin from the old sin nature any longer? Reasons according to scripture please.
I agree with Paul in Romans 7 that we have inherited the nature of God and we also have the nature of sin in us. It is a war within. our old nature never left. It is over come by the new nature. I believe that the name of Jesus Christ at baptism remits all of our sins and at that point we become free from sin. It’s all because of the name of Jesus.
I differ in various doctrines but generally I believe in what oneness teaches. I reject tithing, modern dispensational ideas. Etc.
I celebrate all spiritual gifts and teach they are all in force today. I also teach that we are in a pre-millennial experience right now. We don’t have a separate covenant other than what future national Israel will have. We are in their future covenant in a partial way.
