A 19th century principled standard was usual for Parents to raise their own children, teach them rightfully, not borrow, buy what you can pay for, take care of ones own, and government take care of a few things. IMO, simple, and good for all.

Hard to expect people to say ya sure, when for several generations, an open hand has been loaded up with every want and whim, simply for opening the hand.

Lol well if you get desperate during the apocalypse, CBD oil takes away the pain without the high. So should be safe.

I have some more work to get done but I'll leave this here in case you're interested in reading about it.

Oh I know about CBD. Unfortunately it doesn’t work for me. It works wonders in my tendinitis though. Just not my back pain.

I was just talking about this with my friends yesterday. Since “the greatest generation” was born, life has become easier and easier to the point of lost work ethics. If things get to easy you lose a sense of reality. I could see America ending in this generation lol.

When a person does not have a set of principles, they neither know why or how to establish a plan or how to accomplish a plan. That has been removed from society, to just DO as you are TOLD, and your hand will be filled with meaningless trinkets.
My kids had the same basic rules from toddler through teens. Every day;
Eat, Sleep, Work, Play, Pray...Skip one, tomorrow another will be taken away.
What would be taken away, is whatever was written on the paper, “they” pulled out of the jar. Amazing how quickly they learned they never wanted to pull out of the jar, (no) Eat, (no) Play...even (no) Sleep, and asking me if they could...and me saying I can not change what YOU CHOSE.
It was interesting in my case, to observe the older kids showing and helping the youngest, who is profoundly Deaf. And we had the days, whereby the older kids ears were muffled, no radio, no tv sound, no talking, no washer making noise, etc. Basic stuff, a little kid can grasp, learn, understand, without being overwhelmed.
I think about the so called “cartoons”, for kids today, and the mommy’s “at home babysitter”.... Yipes they are hours of a daily Chaotic bombardment of nonstop Flash and Noise.
It’s a crazy world, getting worse, and so many can not see it.
If you think it bugs you, imagine Gods thoughts on the matter.

but it wont last forever . THE NEW WORLD and NEW HEAVEN is what the lambs look forward too .

They can keep the world and its pipe dream . We have the glorious LORD and we look forward to ONE DAY
HIS DAY . they look forward to their day and what and how they can survive best in this world .
I say , whatever comes against me in this world , SO LONG as I GOT JESUS , I SHALL REJOICE . HOPE AINT IN THIS WORLD

My feelings on it are pretty basic

1. Trust God, Don't have any fear
2. Keep living
3. Don't trust the media
4. If you do want to do something to feel more secure, make simple practical adjustments here and there as life goes on, and things will usually fall into place on their own.

IF we want to do something to feel more secure , TRUST IN GOD .
Fluffy you cant image the peace my mind has . I am so fully persauded that GOD knows my every need
and that he will know a need i have even days down the road . ALL i need do is trust in HIM .
He takes care of birds , HOW MUCH MORE THE LAMBS . Even if i do lose all in this world
I GOT THE LORD . SO what did i lose exactly , NOTHING . HE IS WITH US . OH FLUFFY when your mind
gets to this place i speak off , YOU GONNA DANCE A JIG OF PRAISE and YOUR PEACE IS GONNA GO THROUGH THE ROOF .
Cause it dont matter if i live or die , if i suffer or not , I GOT THE LORD and my END IS GOOD . AND HE
will take care of me and be with ME through it all . I cannot fully explain the peace i have , BUT MAN ITS GREAT PEACE SISTER .

I'm looking into canning a little because it's a practical skill, but I don't do it because I'm afraid. I trust in God already. It is just a lasting investment and if it pays off (which it will on its own financially and health wise) that's great!

Already the LORD is putting some lambs together . Oh yes . for now its mainly on line and on the phone and some in person ,
but soon enough the lambs will gather wherever the LORD leads us . The times ahead are GETTING ONLY MUCH WORSE .
And at the very least we can at least be singining praises together as the world comes for us . THE LORD IS OUR HOPE .

The inflation rate just jumped to a 39 year high last week, with no end in sight yet. The reason is obvious to those who understand economics. In order to keep economies running smoothly in the aftermath of the epidemic, most nations have begun pumping billions and even trillions of units of currency into their economies, which is now devaluing them at a rapid pace. The US put 5 trillion into their system, and whenever making money out of thin air is adopted as the short term solution for economic problems like what we have been facing, the end result is inflation sooner or later, and this is what we are seeing transpire now.

All of this is a planned and DELIBERATE destruction of the West. There was no need for any inflation, nor for the squandering of billions and trillions of dollars (which will end up in the pockets of the crime syndicate called "government"). But somehow the criminals and evildoers have managed to grab all the power they can, so that in less than one year they can destroy the economy. Satan is behind this since his agenda is to (1) steal, (2) kill, and (3) destroy.

Yes, well this raises some interesting questions. What will it be this time around? The problem is, when it happened in the 20s, America for one was still deeply influenced by the Christian ethic. People still spoke of "the golden rule" and many still tied to live by it. Will they do so now? Or will they simply resort to any way they can to get over on others just to save their own skins. I'm thinking panhandling and trying to con people will reach an all time high, and there will be people everywhere trying to cheat and deceive others out of money.

Hate to be all gloom and doom, but I think the days of parents raising their kids the right way has passed into history at this point. Today the underlying mentality is a bit more like "Dog eat dog."

There's a side to this I agree with, Marvelloustime, but at the same time we mist not forget that the Lord told us to watch and pray, watching for the signs that would be leading to His return. I think the economic collapse that is coming is going to set the stage for even worse things to come. I could say more, but as stated in an earlier post, I believe we are in the early stages of the Four Horsemen beginning to march, and with them will come famine and pestilence eventually. As Jesus said, "When you see all these things coming to pass, know that the end is near, even at the door."

My goodness... I almost stopped reading at Phase 5 because it was getting a little rough. Then I read on through Phase 6, which is deeply troubling.

Let me take a good look tomorrow. I'm having a good day, and don't want anything bumming me out right now, LoL.
