If I believed the Bible said differently from what the Church taught, I would
leave in a heartbeat.
Isn't it amazing how we can work out where others have their failings but are oblivious to our own?.
If Jehovah's Witnesses believed the Bible said differently from what the
Watchtower Society teaches, they would sever their association with the
Watchtower Society.
If Seventh Day Adventists believed the Bible said differently from what Ellen
G. white teaches, they would sever their ties with Ellen G. White.
The thing is: most folks saying they believe the Bible are actually believing
their hierarchy's understanding of the Bible-- an understanding that may be
tainted with errors without the rank and file knowing it.

@Webers_Home people aren't clones. You don't expect them to be clones in your pews and acknowledge that people do think differently about some theological points. You don't say "you are severed from association!" for that fact. It's hypocritical for you to hold a different judgment bar for other pews (like JW or SDA). It's extra ridiculous for you to do so based not on what SDA/JW believe themselves but what you think they believed based on what a Baptist told you (example Walter Martin). This same judgment of "understanding tainted with errors without the rank and file knowing it" is being brought down on yourself..

I proved you wrong from A to Z.When the church started in Acts 2, three thousand were added to the church after Peter told them to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins.
The crowd that Peter was preaching to was a Jewish Crowd....they had just recently crucified Jesus for what they thought was blasphemy —— and it WAS just that unless Jesus was Who He claimed to be to be—— the Son Of God.
After Peter preached, many in the crowd went on to do the thing that saved them.....they “ changed their mind” about who Jesus was......had they not changed their mind ( True Repentance, from the Greek Word “ metanoia” which literarily means “ mind change”) and turned from UNbelievers to Believers, they could not have been saved that day that Peter preached.....there were probably many in the crowd who remained “ stiff necked” or Unrepentant that day and returned to their homes lost.......Lost because they did not change their mind , or on other words, Repent in regard as to what they thought of Jesus....
One is not saved unless they have the Holy Spirit....they got that Spirit the moment that they changed their mind about Jesus and Believed.....They were Saved People that had already received the Holy Spirit—— here is your proof—-Acts 10:47. “ These people have *RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT* ( thus proving they were already saved) can anybody forbid them from water so that they might be baptized”.......
Baptism is a rite for the Saved, an outer showing of what has taken place inwardly .....it doe not Save....I have just proved that as always, it is the BELIEVING that Saves.....baptism is something for the ALREADY SAVED to do...if one has Turned ( another definition of “ repentance) from Unbelief in Jesus to an actual Belief in Jesus he has done all the “ repenting” that he ever needs to do to get Saved.....Get baptized to celebrate that fact ! It should be a joyous occasion for anybody that is already Saved......
“ BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ and be Saved”...... nothing about baptism there....nothing about “ repenting FROM SINS “ in there......change your mind about who Jesus is and why you need a Him....THAT is ‘ what is in there” ....THAT is the True, Biblical Repentance That Saves.....Baptism is kinda like “ icing on the cake”.....May God bless us all in the understanding of these things,,,,

Sda should be shaking in their boots regarding that Investigative Judgement per EW, as they will have NO mediator , no Jesus to support them in that time, and God will have to see that their lives met the Law as well as Jesus did to pass!.
Prior to making a decision whether to take up the Seventh Day Adventist
religion, new Christians really should thoroughly research not only Ellen
G. White, but also a crucial SDA doctrine called Investigative Judgment;
which is a doctrine that has quite a few Adventists crossing their fingers and
hoping for the best while in the back of their mind dreading the worst.
YouTube is a pretty good source; and Wikipedia too.

No sense in stopping now:If Jehovah's Witnesses believed the Bible said differently from what the
Watchtower Society teaches, they would sever their association with the
Watchtower Society.
If Seventh Day Adventists believed the Bible said differently from what Ellen
G. white teaches, they would sever their ties with Ellen G. White.
And if a SDA/LDS/Catholic/Protestant/anyone earnestly studied the Bible themselves and find that what the Bible teaches in in sync with a certain denomination? No sense in stopping now:
IF LDS Mormons believed The KJV Of The BIBLE is Different than what
their religion teaches, they would IMMEDIATELY RUN, in a heartbeat!
IF Romanists believed The KJV Of The BIBLE is Different than what their
religion teaches, they would IMMEDIATELY RUN, in a heartbeat! I DID!
IF Protestants believed The KJV Of The BIBLE is Different than what their
denominational traditions teach, they would IMMEDIATELY RUN, in a heartbeat!
I (from "baptist") DID!
IF Any religionist believed The KJV Of The BIBLE is Different than what their
religion teaches, they would IMMEDIATELY RUN, in a heartbeat! I DID!
Praise God For All who have RUN from the above, and run TO The LORD
JESUS CHRIST, Now "running HIS Great GRACE race!" Amen?
Could get Very Confusing, as per this water baptism example:what the Bible teaches in in sync with a certain denomination?
This one of many many examples where folks understand the Bible differently.Could get Very Confusing, as per this water baptism example:
which Traditional denomination is Correct?:
<Jane trimming this to make my response shorter>
God is Certainly 'NOT the author' (1 Corinthians 14:33) of all this "carnal
DIVISION" which is similar to what Paul addresses in (1 Corinthians 1:9-17), Correct?
Borrowed from God's Foolishness Of ONE Baptism!...
GRACE And Peace... And, yes, Agree, love All of our fellow man and woman!!

There's really no cause for alarm in the Adventist religion because Ellen G.
White didn't believe in perpetual, unending, permanent torture. She
apparently believed in fiery retribution; but not the way normal Christians
believe in it.
However, Investigative Judgment has been a source of discouragement for
some of the folks I've seen on YouTube because it is so strict. For example,
in the Adventist religion, only sins that have been confessed receive
forgiveness; which means that if an Adventist neglects to confess a sin, or
forgets to confess a sin; all those kinds of sins will be held against them
when their files are examined (a.k.a. investigated)

Also note: a Christian (of any denomination) follows Christ out of love (or at least should be). Not out of fear. If you (or anyone else) require God to threaten you in order for you to do something, then that's not a healthy relationship..

"And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." - Mar. 1:15Ill say it again.....NOWHERE in the KJV does it say to “Repent Of SINS to get Saved”
Jesus didn't shy away from telling people they were wrong if their beliefs and practices weren't aligned with the scriptures. He repeatedly told the religious leaders they were wrong, He told the Samaritan woman in Jhn 4 that her and her people have been spent centuries being wrong, and He outright told her that she was committing adultery by living with a man who was not her husband. And if a SDA/LDS/Catholic/Protestant/anyone earnestly studied the Bible themselves and find that what the Bible teaches in in sync with a certain denomination?
I personally respect that choice. Rather than waving finger's and going "you're wrong!", I want to take the time to understand what it is that person believes and how they find it fit's in God's Truth. God Himself will do any witnessing of His Truth. I just love my fellow man.
There is no reason for anyone to fear. KJV Daniel 7:22Sda should be shaking in their boots regarding that Investigative Judgement per EW, as they will have NO mediator , no Jesus to support them in that time, and God will have to see that their lives met the Law as well as Jesus did to pass!
Jesus's death on Calvary covered every possible avenue for condemnation and accusation. From sins of ignorance to peace offerings to full atonement. Perfect love casts out fear..

Who said anything about hiding Christ's Truth? Not I!"And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." - Mar. 1:15
"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" - Luk. 13:3, 5

He didn't come to them saying something like "I want to see how your beliefs how fits with what the Father revealed to Me" just so He wouldn't have to look like the bad guy in front of people. Jesus called false religions for what they were and didn't concern Himself with their adherents being offended by what He was directed to say.
Taking a stand for the truth and loving other people means having to tell them that their beliefs, customs, or lifestyles are wrong so they can be freed from false religion or false values.
