Please show how he is misrepresenting that verse.
He is correct in that fear of the Lord is a theme that runs throughout the Word.
My favorite is:
"Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name." - Psalm 86:11
He asks for holy fear in order to keep God in perspective and give Him the respect he deserves.
There are scores of others that say the same thing.
And he is wrong when he defines the word 'fear' in the verses he provided. Fear also means awe.
