Sorry, schools out for summer.

I love to have people share. I do not appreciate them trying to put me to the test.

gregg-

I'll play ( although I tend to agree with Foreiner... )

John stood before the future peoples and nations of the world, and watched an evil kingdom arise from those people / nations.

Many times sand in The Bible represents multitudes of people ( See Rev 20:8 ), and water also represents people ( ie; Rev 12:15 & 16 ).

Now, let me ask you a question:
What nationality is the AntiChrist?
The Lord has left us a simple clue....

-- So, since it was Jesus that tested his followers and by your own admission you are not He, then why bother?

Instead of testing people here - which you have provided nothing to show you are qualified to do - why not just share the information and be a benefit.

I ask a simple question for a personal reason, but it seems like wolves are out their waiting to tear you apart. IF you were not going to answer the request why respond? unless you were just hungry. :D

Yes, yes, I know, there have been many AntiChrist's.
The AC described in Rev 13:3-8, and Daniel 9:26 of the "prince that shall come", both one and the same.
POPEYE with all respects and not to avoid your ? i would rather keep this post singular than 2 than 3 than 4 etc different topics because before you know it we are off the ? you know it happens :D

I agree. Ok by me. Just one question.... What is the point of your question? ( you never explained why you asked the question, or what the correct answer was )

Why don't you just tell us what your interpretation of that phrase is?

-- Exactly.
Especially if you are that confident that you know and feel that anyone who disagrees with your opinion on the matter is wrong.

Here we are 14 posts into this thread and the person who started it hasn't given their position on the topic.

Standing by waters and being given a vision from God was a pattern from the OT...

Gen 41:1
1 And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.
(KJV)

Ezek 1:1
1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
(KJV)

Dan 8:2
2 And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.
(KJV)

Thus John being posed upon the sea shore in Rev.13:1 when God gave him the vision followed the OT pattern. His standing upon the shore represents the idea of a 'border'.

Mal 1:4-5
4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, "The border of wickedness", and, "The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever."
5 And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.
(KJV)

Obad 1:6-10
6 How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!
7 All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.
8 Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?
9 And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.
10 For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.
(KJV)

Amos 6:2
2 Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border?
(KJV)

Jer 31:17
17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
(KJV)

It is related to this event...

Rev 9:13-16
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
(KJV)

Rev 16:12
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
(KJV)

And this...

Luke 16:26
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
(KJV)

And this...

Rev 22:14-15
14 Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
(KJV)

Gregg...Your statement makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Please elaborate and explain....
