The only one here to quote a single scrap of Scripture here is Michiah-Imala who stated "God did kill David’s baby from Bath-Sheba because of David’s sins in that situation… (
2 Samuel 12)
And King Jeroboam’s child as well (
1 Kings 14).
God's demand for abortion goes all the way back to the Books of the Law where an abortion drug was administered to an adultress:
"But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have made yourself impure by having sexual relations with a man other than your husband”— here the priest is to put the woman under this curse—“may the Lord cause you to become a curse among your people when he makes your womb miscarry and your abdomen swell. May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells or your womb miscarries.” Numbers 5:20-22 NIV
God
Hoseas's prayer: Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
16 Ephraim is stricken, their root is dried up,
They will bear no fruit.
Even though they bear children,
I will slay the precious ones of their womb.
17 My God will cast them away
Because they have not listened to Him;
Hosea 9
The entity of the tribe of Ephraim was decimated by God-inflicted abortions. Ever notice that when the 144,000 are sealed (Rev 7), 12,000 from each of the tribes of Israel, that Ephraim is not mentioned??
As for your mention of requiring the death penalty for someone who caused a woman to abort, try reading that again. If two men are in a fight, and one strikes the wife of the other, causing her to abort, then he must pay a fine to the woman's husband. But if any other mischief follow, then the law of an eye for an eye must be invoked.
As for a foetus in the womb, it is not a child nor a living being. that foetus does not become a living being, as with Adam, God breathes into it the Breath/Spirit of life. As God confirms "Until God has breathed into the fetus the breath/spirit of life, God says it is dead!
"For as the body apart from the spirit is dead" (James 2:26 )
All that is forming in the womb is our "earthly tent" created from dust, and when we die it returns to dust, upon which we enter our heavenly tent/dwelling.
You have made yourself a god, like the Pharisees did. Where God had slipped up they manufactured their own laws to burden the people. You are doing the same. What you are in essence saying, is that God is stoopid, and forgot to mention that abortion is a sin. And your mission in life is to fix God's mistakes by making up your own set of laws you figure God should have included in Scripture.
