What if you lose your faith?

Just show me one verse that says 'believing' is an act of self righteous effort.

Faith in Christ, is to put Trust in Jesus as your Savior.
How?
"FAITH comes by HEARING" The Gospel.
The Gospel, is "the preaching of the Cross", and "The Cross is the power of God, unto Salvation".

So, when you give God your FAITH, because you have believed, after hearing "the preaching of the Cross", then God, gives you "the Gift of Salvation" and "The GIFT of Righteousness".
You then BECOME......"a new Creation"..........and now exist in the KOG< as a SON OF GOD, born again.
So, you dont need "FAITH" to get there later, as you are ALREADY THERE because God accepted your FAITH, ALREADY.

You can't teach that you keep yourself saved by "IF IF IF i dont lose my FAITH" and then at the same time say that God gets all YOUR CREDIT for Salvation.

You're just not very scripturally literate. These 'ifs' come right out of the Bible. You can't see them because you're indoctrinated and conditioned to not see them. That's the funny thing about indoctrinations. It makes people look right past the plain words of scripture as if those words are not even there. It's quite an interesting phenomenon.

And just to be clear - I mean, not that you're actually going to hear what I say, lol - you do not keep yourself saved by continuing to believe. You remain in who keeps you saved by continuing to believe. In one ear and out the other, right? Continue to misrepresent what I'm saying...

"believing" is not Legalsim.

Its trying to not go to hell, because you think that holding unto faith is why God keeps you saved........is the Legalism.
