By your own admission you say you have the reading comprehension of a five year old. So let me spell this out for you as best I can for you: Since John says "if you sin" in 1 John 2:1 we know he can't be saying born again people don't ever sin in 1 John 3:9. It's just a matter of simple reading comprehension and logic. If you'll just read 1 John 3:9 you'll see he says he's talking about continuing in sin. The born again person does not remain in a lifestyle of sin like they did before they were born again. They grow up and out of it. Peter talks about this, too, in 2 Peter 1:8.

I'm sure every Christian on earth thinks they're saved, but have got a shock coming..-
Jesus said-"Not all who call me "Lord,Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven. Then I'll tell them plainly, I never knew you, get away from me" (Matthew 7:21-23)

Waiting in line on Judgement Day there will be two types of people....some are quite certain that they are Saved .....They will be saying, “I know that *I* am Saved , because *I* did THIS , and *I* did THAT—— they are Proud of themselves and their Performance , and All that can say is “ I” “ I” “I”——- good luck with that....
Those that share the Line with old, Sinful, BB will NEVER say the word “ I” —- they will be too preoccupied looking at something sprinkled on the Heavenly Mercy Seat that stands in Heaven that was the ONLY THING that actually ever got them Saved.....The will be shouting , “ The Blood” “ The Blood” “ The Blood”.....

That first group I mentioned that spoke only of themselves ?THEY will be the ones hearing , “ Depart from Me!”

Remember from the Bible those guys that pleaded, “ Hey! Didn’t *WE* cast out demons and didn’t * WE* do this and that and the other thing?” They made it ALL about THEM —- NO mention of what JESUS DID * FOR* them......NO mention, much less an appreciation for the Shed Blood That Saved Them.....

They will find out too late that all along, when it came to Salvation,l it really *WAS* “NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD” —- NOTHING.

You need to check out Chapt 11 Of Hebrews.....practically ALL the “ Heroes Of Faith” like David and Moses and the Abysmal, Unrepentant Lot , etc were Murders and Adulterers....

Jesus never Condoned Sin and neither do I.....but I have at least one thing in common with Jesus—- Jesus was a Friend to Sinners, and so am I....We are to Hate the Sin But Love the Sinner....

Never forget—- it wasn’t Robbers and Murderers that Sent Jesus to the Cross and Killed Him—- it was the RELIGIOUS People! Just like the kind that we see in here every day...

The Religious people of Jesus day killed Him then, and if ever given the chance , the Religious People Of today would do the SAME THING now! Why? They did not Know Him THEN, and they Do Not Know Him Now!

I hate nobody, and I don’t Hang around wicked murderers and robbers, etc....but I also don’t hang around Self- Righteous Religionists......But at least most murderers and Robbers KNOW that they are Sinners and they at LEAST don’t go around teaching Legalistic, False and Perverted Gospels That send people to Hell! There is at least Hope for a Murderer ( like David and Mose and Paul) ....there is NO HOPE for those that preach a “ Different” Gospel than the one that Paul preached( 1Cor15:1-4 )—- They are “ Accursed” —- Damned Eternally By God.....maybe you sympathize with this types because” Birds of a Feather Flock together..... Really? Romans was written to unsaved people?

The Bible is written to the people of God. The people of God are to be trained by it to evangelize and teach others:

"16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17​

The Book Of Romans was written “TO” Believers, But Starting in Chapter One at verse 18 it starts talking about “ ungodly and unrighteousness” men.....and continues at least into the third chapter where it REALLY gets bad for any Unbeliever.....

Yes, technically speaking, it was written to a Believing crowd...but the purpose for many of the verses was not for the Believers, who were already saved ......these are the verses that need to be read by the UnsavedMan —- especially those That think that they are “ good enough” to merit Heaven without any help from Jesus and the Gospel.....Contained within THESE verses are the verses that will hopefully CONVICT the Lost man thatvhe is a rotten sinner that MUST HAVE a Savior!

One has little need for the “ GOOD NEWS” until he discovers the True “ BAD NEWS”....... it’s like the Old saying Of many Preachers —- Ya gotta get them Lost before you can get them Found” ...Paul wrote this Letter to Believers with the full Knowledge that it would be a Tool in later years to convict Unsaved Bible readers that their “ safety” in their performances and their “self- Righteousness” was nothing but a lie from Satan....

I always try to steer first- time Bible Readers to the early chapters of Romans and the Sermon on the Mound...If they can make it through those verses and STILL not see that they are a Lost Sinner ( The Starting Point Of Christianity) , there is very little hope for them...

I am the first to agree that a Christian can work their way to hell....a few ways, But it is not a mystery. You know if you are working your way to hell. This is not a mystery and salvation is secure.

Big sins and sinful lifestyles....pack the barbeque sauce.

Most Christians are usually very boring sinners and do not tax grace.

The average Christian should be confident in their salvation....

Now a days we have Bibles...study Bibles...the internet at the tip of our fingers.....saved and knowledgeable.

Those Christians that listened to the Apostle Paul or Peter.....had no Bible....they listened and believed and tried to do right and they were saved.....yep we are saved today?

For saved there is no gauge for high faith.....You believe Yeshua is the Son of God and your Savior. No popup indicator! The indicator that you believe is that you are a follower of Christ and amend your life using Him as a example. If your life does not change, that is the indicator of a problem.

Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, an Imperative.

He tells the Christians to run to win. verse 24
All athletes are trained, just as a Christian is. verse 25..

Yes, in 'Chariots of Fire' Abrahams is sulking because he's just lost a race, then up comes Sam Mussabini the trainer and says "I can give you another yard".
The rest is history, Abrahams goes on to win Olympic Gold.
In a sense, Jesus is the "trainer" that humans need to win the race for salvation..

And if they attended a church today, Paul's counsel is to put them out of the fellowship until, and if, they repent. Then receive them back into the fellowship.

"11But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat." 1 Corinthians 5:11

"5hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the Day of the Lord." 1 Corinthians 5:5

This kind of treatment isn't reserved for your nemesis, the proverbial legalist. You had a bad experience with Christians before you were born again who showed you up by how they lived and you decided they were legalists. Now you hate their guts. I say, if you're going to hate them, then you can't exclude all the other sinners, too.
