Don't deny the Rapture and be left behind!!!
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13 And now, dear brothers, I want you to know what happens to a Christian when he dies so that when it happens, you will not be full of sorrow, as those are who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and then came back to life again, we can also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him all the Christians who have died.

15 I can tell you this directly from the Lord: that we who are still living when the Lord returns will not rise to meet him ahead of those who are in their graves. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a mighty shout and with the soul-stirring cry of the archangel and the great trumpet-call of God. And the believers who are dead will be the first to rise to meet the Lord. 17 Then we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. 18 So comfort and encourage each other with this news.===Caught up IS the rapture. After the years of the great tribulation Jesus will return to earth and bring the raptured believers with Him and defeat all evil and set up His eternal kingdom here on earth and God will have His home here for all eternity!. do yourself a favor imo; deny the “rapture” that is deliberately mistranslated from harpazo—just like that “…Lord returns” heresy up there—and get left behind! I came that you might have life, more abundantly

If the rapture is true-- which I don't believe it is, but I surely could be wrong about that, me and a great majority of other Christians--I will be caught up with Jesus too because he has saved me. There's nothing you have to do to make sure you'll be saved as long as you abide in Jesus and he in you. Well, you and I will find this out very soon. This life is very brief.

No He most surely does not, as you well know, you cannot Quote that one single time, except maybe in a bad english translation, and the apostles were specifically admonished for “looking up at the sky” so you are not only telling untruths now, you are lying, when you make such absolute statements that you cannot back up with Scripture.

So rather than continue to offend, why not just state what you believe? So i dont feel compelled to refute?

And for everyone else, who might still actually be seeking, “return” is hupo strepho in Greek and shuvu in Hebrew, and do you know what you get when you go looking?

Return to Me and I will return to you
x2, for a witness

so, buyer beware, mmmkay

also, there is a perfectly good rendition of our “rapture” in Song of Songs, that Tomorrow People of course hate and ignore, but imo go find that one, if you dare

Look for and expect Jesus anytime now!!===
  • Heb 10:35-37 – Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
I. Looking for Jesus’ Return: Titus 2:11-14 – 1 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 """looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,"""" 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
Colossians 3:1-4 – If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

More abundant life includes the Resurrection/Rapture, which is the culmination of salvation. However, whether people deny or affirm the Rapture, if they are genuinely children of God, they will be taken up to Heaven. If not, they will be left behind.

Yes!! Children of God will be caught up to heaven at the rapture but those that deny the rapture must try to go through the years of the great tribulation first!!! Be smart and believe!!!

Jesus transfigured before them and seen talking to Moses and Elijah that came down from heaven.
Matthew 17:3
There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them, talking with Jesus.

I believe there will be a gathering together before tribulation also. But the way this op reads to me is that those who so believe will be gathered and those who don’t will be left behind. But I don’t see that thought in what I read about it. What I read seems to suggest that those who have been tested and had their slag removed while here will be taken and those who require more testing to make their trust pure will be left behind, since it says I will keep you from that time of testing coming on the whole world to test its people. But we also know there will be tribulation saints by the verses about them under the altar, so it’s not for punishment that they’re left behind but for more sifting.

Another thought is the verse about the gospel being preached to every man before the end comes. We think that means here and now, by our own hands, but I think it means when the two witnesses preach and satellite has every man alive hearing it.

Hebrews 9:28 tells us who Jesus will return for==Hebrews 9: 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To """those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear""" a second time

Yes!!! After the rapture millions will see their great error and become believers but then they must try to live under anti-Christ rule in the years of the great tribulation until Jesus returns with the raptured saints to defeat all evil and set up His eternal kingdom here!!

That’s a good verse. But there are men who don’t necessarily think that means before the time of testing and wonder if it maybe means after. They will admit they don’t know. But if they have been tested while on earth and are pure in trust, I don’t think they will be left behind because they weren’t certain on it. They might be a little more surprised though!

One thing is pretty certain. All the views need to fit in the verses about Him coming very suddenly, when we LEAST expect it, because as it stands, during the time of testing one would be able to know almost exactly when to expect it once the events spoken of began to occur. But even then, maybe not, because there’s that little verse that says He will cut the time short or no man would live through it…
