What church is right? The ones that bring people to God. Saying the RCC brings the most to God does not mean those who are now affiliated with other denominations would be absorbed. Rather those people might fall away from God if not for the Protestant church they now attend. Read about leaving the 99 to save the 1.

There is a childishly petulant competitiveness in your posts that is unbecoming.

We only care about the truth, too.
But we also understand that the journey to truth is just that, a journey, as we mature and grow up into the knowledge and stature of Jesus Christ. Some believers are farther along in that journey, while others are just starting. That is by design and explained for us by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:13-15. You seem to be oblivious to this teaching given to us by the Apostle Paul. Strange, since you are sure your men are direct spiritual descendants of the office of the apostles, yet you are not aware of their teachings, or have simply rejected them.

You seem oblivious to the fact that the body is the church (Colossians 1:18). You've been erroneously programmed to only be able to think of the church as your Catholic hierarchy of leadership. That is why you can't see and comprehend what we are saying, and which comes right out of the pages of the Bible. Instead, you defer to the teachings of men who have told you they are 'the church' and only they have the power to discern what is truth and what is not for you. Quite sad. Jesus delivered his people from the bondage and corruption of such a system when He sent the Holy Spirit into the world. Perhaps you would know this if you believed the Apostle John and sought the guidance of the Holy Spirit for yourself and read the Bible for yourself.

Once you find The Church you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free.

What is it about Colossians 1:18 that you do not understand?
Are you going to defer to what the Catholic leadership says is the church, or are you going to read and discern what the Bible says is the church? Of course, your men have told you that you can't read and discern the Bible for yourself and that only they can do that for you. And so you have an incorrect and corrupt definition of what is 'the church'. And you're not allowed to question it.

Its a shame the many within the CC did not do just that . Them are not apostels leading that church my friends .
They should have been tested and tried by the holy scrips then folks would have known .

You keep saying we have four different truths . care to explain that one a bit .
I mean you seen something , surely you would not just make it up .
So tell me , what do you mean . What four different teachings and on what subject .
Lets not make blanket statements . Expose the four teachings and explain how each one of us has taught it .
THEN i can compare and see . TILL then its empty words of just trying to make it seem like
we cant know the truth lest the CC reveals it . THE JW say the same thing . AND both the JW
and the CC both teach different things . SO they cant both be right . TRUTH IS
they both use the same idea to enslave the people to sit under them . THIS aint a new tactic for power and control either .
The mormons did it and so have others . Many within the protestant realm today
say , YE cannot know or understand the bible lest ye sit under our scholars . SOUNDS TO ME
LIKE a means to CONTROL the people . Sounds very dangerous indeed .
AND they all cliam to know greek and have wise scholars . SO HOW come their greek opposes
one another . We must have many FORMS of GREEK if ya KNOW what i mean . NO . THIS IS a means for power and control .
AND they cannot even see the simplicity of the rightly divided word . I have watched folks be lulled to sleep
under such men . NO THANKS . I stick with the HOLY GHOST . You all can keep your greek and your scholars
and so can they all .

Today people are able to test them without the fear of death for daring so in the past.
God does call people out of the church, so there is always that hope for now.

My extended family members are all dedicated RC's. One was 78 yo when they died. They worked to be a very pious observant Catholic.Though they were not a very good person.

Why not?
You claim the church - the Catholic hierarchy - knows the whole and complete truth and teaches it to you people making you perfectly unified in that truth with no deviations or divisions whatsoever. And that there is no such thing as differing progressive personal revelation of truth. So why have you not claimed that you know the truth?

I are that church!
The church is the members of Christ's body, not a religious organization with it's hierarchy of leadership and it's official creeds and rituals.

Once you find The Church you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free.

I found the church, the body of Christ when I was born again and became a part of it. That's when I could see the true church of born again people that I never saw before and did not even know existed. People who related to God in a real, born again relationship and not in cold dead ritualistic 'religion'. Before then I was just going through religious rituals and embracing 'correct' religious creeds, thinking that's what it means to be right with God. I was a part of the 'church' of the world that does not know God - people who have neither seen him or known him, taking false comfort in the correctness of their worship methodology and their official creeds.

Sooooo how has that worked out for you Protestants Ferris? Not so good kiddo. You have divided 13,000 times by some estimates!

Catholics aren't the only false division of people in Christianity. There are many.

Well, the men of the Catholic Church asked for guidence from the Holy Spirit. And the men of the Mormon denomination asked also. And you asked...and Martin Luther asked and Calvin and @Ferris Bueller....Odly enough all have come up with different truths from the same Holy Spirit....You should re-think your theory.

Why? Why rethink anything? Paul wandered into a synagogue one day and taught the doctrine of Jesus and the gospel. There were no doubt many others wandering the neighborhood of Greece, Asia minor, and Palestine teaching stuff also. How did the Bereans compare Paul's teachings to for example, Simon Magus,, or the seven sons of Sceva, or any other random wannabe prophet doing the rounds? What did the Bereans is as their template to ascertain the validity and veracity of Paul's teaching?

But where the SDA agree with scripture, there you agree with the SDA. Yes? The trick is in willing to search to see how far they agree with scripture, before dissing the whole movement as being unworthy of your attention.
I became an SDA because I searched and experienced others first... And I didn't rely on what others said about us. Not parked to know what they taught. I don't do that with Catholics. Nor with Mormans. Nor JWs. Adventists don't join, coming from other faith groups through a lack of reasoning powers and mental application.

The truths anyone has are those that agree with scripture. Those are the ones, the only ones, that are undeniable.

My extended family members are all dedicated RC's. One was 78 yo when they died.

My extended family are all bad Catholics - the wedding, baptism, funeral kind. Some are good enough to bless the body with their presence on Xmas and Easter. But that's about it. The dissension, competitiveness, and fighting among them rages on unabated.

Let me give you one example. One uncle was very sickly. Another uncle became his legal guardian (or whatever term the crazy kids in law use these days). The 2nd uncle wanted the extended family to visit the first uncle more often, especially when he was in the hospital. Busy with their own lives, their own children and grandchildren, as well as their own health problems, being in their 70's, they did not visit their brother as frequently as the 2nd uncle of mine preferred.

In retribution, when the first uncle died, he told none of his siblings. He had his brother cremated with no service.

I've been told the hatred among these Catholic extended family members compares to the hatred in Biblical accounts; not a very good people, not to each other, anyway.
