@Peterlag,

The Bible is said to be written as the "The Greatest Story" ever told.

Who do you believe will be the hero and should be starring if the Bible was made into a film?

The truth!!! And like it, John 8:24 reads:

"I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: if ye believe not that I am (he) ye shall die in your sins." John 8:24

Jesus is the Great I AM!

Well, You're right God was the only savior in all the Old Testament verses you quote because Jesus was not yet born.
John 8
58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."

Yup the child who will be called, the Almighty God, the everlasting Father.

Isaiah 9:6
Absolutely the Son will manifest His character perfectly and be given children as a reward for his obedience.

No, a nice try - there is only One God - you are referring to the Mediator became God and man...the Man Jesus Christ 1 Timothy 2:5

I know you can't read Isaiah 9:6 at face value with no added theory in what it means. It simply means what it says He is the ever lasting Father the beginning and end.

It's about reading with understanding.
Lets look at the first issue you have.
Isaiah states that Jesus "shall be called" not now....in the Kingdom Age Isaiah 9:7 cmp Luke 1:32, not that he is now the mighty God.
Future tense is an issue on two fronts. 1. Jesus did not preexist which fits the tense and the question you should ask is why in the Kingdom age will Jesus be referred to in this way?

We also know from the record that the work of establishing the Kingdom is carried out by Jesus, it is the zeal of the LORD of hosts which cause this to happen as Isaiah 9:7.

Have you so quickly forgotten the Masters words? "I can of mine own self do nothing". John 5:30

Reading with understanding is a mind which study's to answer.

Enjoy.

Can you give me 2 verses that say it had to be a god-man because I gave you 2 verses that say it was a man that had to do it.

Can't recall the verses directly. It does say that there is no one good, not one; that no one seeks after God (all who are mere humans have a sin nature; anyone who does not place God first in all they do is automatically sinful. And no human has ever done that except the sinless one, Jesus who in all moments of his life placed God first and centered his life around Him). And the Levitical sacrifices specify that the sacrifice must be a perfect one and only God can embody perfection.

You need to start interpreting the Bible as Jesus does and not look for specific verses that state exactly what you are trying to say; that is how the Devil can trip you up and can lead your mind down the path of "Well now God never actually said that, did he?" Well, yes, he did; he gave us functioning brains to interpret things objectively. Jesus explains the way to interpret the Bible when he spoke to the Sadducees about the Resurrection and to the Pharisees about what marriage is and how divorce is almost always wrong.

For the Resurrection he says that God says that He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; therefore he is not the God of the dead because he would have said I was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but since they're dead, well I'm not their God anymore. Because God says he is their God they must be living. Do you see how that is an objective interpretation?

When he talks about marriage, he states how God commanded that a man is to leave his parents and cleave to his wife so that they become one flesh. *Therefore* marriage must be binding and cannot be easily broken. Do you see how this is an objective interpretation and that Jesus does not take a verse that states directly what he was trying to point out (does God actually *say* anywhere in the Bible "Till death do us part?" I do not recall that).

Therefore, this is also how we are to interpret the Bible. There are *many* things not directly stated in the Bible that God is actually saying to us. We have to be able to objectively interpret it (and this is also an objective interpretation because before he says these things, Jesus says, "Have not you read?" He is implying that since we definitely have read these verses, this should be our understanding of them).

A slight misquote here.

Can you see it?

Well, You're right God was the only savior in all the Old Testament verses you quote because Jesus was not yet born.

God is spirit. Jesus spirit was not born, he pre-existed since the beginning.
"Before Abraham was, I Am." - pre-existance
"I AM the Alpha and Omega". - pre-existance
"I Am the Bread of Life". - He didn't become the bread if life, He was always the bread of Life.
He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
All life is created through Him and by Him.
He is the Creator!.
In Him all things consist (are held together). Colossians 1:16-17 That means every atom in the universe. That is power and authority that cannot be given to a man. He is God.

Your whole theology is a dishonor and disgrace to Him. You don't know this and therefore aren't doing it purposely, but you are grieving the Holy Spirit ... oops, that's right, you also think He is a force, not a person. How can you grieve a force? That would imply the force has feelings. Opps ... feelings would imply a mind. A mind implies a person who lives in the Temple of the born again Christian, communicates, loves and guides them ... He also grieves about this.
Living in every Christian implies omnipresence. Knowing all truth implies omniscience.
And the power behind preparing our hearts, sanctifying us times billions implies omnipotence.
This false, non-Trinitarian theology is the reason why those who adhere to it are small in numbers and growth - at a snails pace if any. The Holy Spirit will not grow a church that has false doctrines.
The growth of a fruit tree happens when it is nourished with water and the proper nutrients and yield fruit and the harvest plentiful.
I got 500-600 peaches off my tree this year. Imagine a tree just producing only a few peaches, wouldn't you think the caretaker is doing something wrong?

At His death, He asked the Father to glorify Him as he was before the foundation of the earth.
Close...the Spirit which created him certainly preexisted.

They are mocking me, making fun of the question, saying they don't have to find a verse because we should just know it, and they have even said they have answered the question. Everything but answering the question.
We ought to feel compassionate for their inability to separate their idol from the Word of God.
