He didn’t say “Lord you are God”.
Moreover Jesus had already told them:
“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” (Mark 13:32)
So Jesus in fact did not know all things.

Not close? Not sure why you are drawing the line along living flesh as the point pivots on the language usage of manifest. You want ‘manifest’ in this context to mean is but that is not how manifest is used in language as I demonstrated.
How about this? The spirit of the Japanese people being defeated was manifested by General MacArthur’s plane flying to Tokyo unescorted prior to the official unconditional surrender. The manifestation of that spirit is not MacArthur, right?

I know what you mean about sabbatical.
I work as a relief dealer at a local casino. Odd hours. On break I find my way here and to other Christ talk sites.
Same interest. Yet also,the same atmosphere.
Some less contentious. Some with strict rules precluding trolling by atheist goader types.
Yet still, the subject matter is the same. And yes, it's Christians talking scripture. Yet, that isn't what's the issue.
It's not at all like real time faithful gathered and having a discussion. Or even a Bible study open discussion .
It's always the knocking heads, ''us vs.them''.
We're all involved in that here. And in other forums like ours. Strict rules or no.
There are sides taken and posting.
Those who see the faith this way. Those opposed.
The anonymity factor plays a huge part I think.
Would any of us act this way face to face in church? In our homes sharing together? In public,as a group with onlookers watching and overhearing? Which happens on the Net anyway.
Tags get public attention in search engines. Lurkers ''overhear us,watch us'', as we speak together as Christians.
Ever think those lurkers read any community's boards and think, man! They need Jesus.Look at how they act among their own. And they think they're different from us?

When I first started on forums about 5 yrs ago, I naviavely thought it was Christians fellowshipping and SHARING the word........lol
Was I ever shocked by the attacks against myself and others, how the word was picked apart and twisted, and how UN CHRIST LIKE so called believers behaved !
I truly do pray for all here even those we believe to be in cults that the TRUTH OF GODS WORD would be revealed to them .
The devil wants to seperate and make us haters........I REFUSE TO LET HIM DO THIS TO ME!

Why can't you allow the scriptures by direct statements to explain themselves?
There is a word that describes belief beyond direct evidence, and its not "faith".....it is denial in the face of what is presented as direct evidence.....that is pure “indoctrination”.
The belief (indoctrination) itself, despite the fact that it is not specifically or clearly stated, is stronger than the evidence for its error. No one can get through that barrier.
It’s a certain kind of blindness that I find sad tbh.
If the Jews had no trinity, and the Christians had no trinity until it was officially declared by the Catholic church in the 4th century, don’t you have to wonder where it came from? If it was formulated by the same church that brought you "Mary Mother of God", "immortality of the soul", "purgatory and hellfire", don't you wonder just a little bit?
The Catholic church itself admits that it is not scriptural.....so, do you trust a church that teaches so much error to dictate such an important doctrine. That of course is your choice and indeed the choice of all who decide that Jesus is not who he says he is....and his Father then becomes someone other than what his own word says he is....but indoctrination works like that....you know....

Jesus is God manifested in the flesh to dwell among us as we are that he might truly feel as we do. He did and sacrificed himself for the ONLY WAY OF REDEMPTION, FINAL, EVERLASTING.
He sent back himself in his Spirit to oversee us as his church and individually as his children. He teaches, shares his fruit through us that we might be more like him, overcomes through our weaknesses and helps in everything we do .

Scripture does not say this exactly.
But Jesus’ special connection with God is strongly stated in scripture. That’s as far as I will go…
