You looking at a man that used to do that very thing . Living and loving sin and yet i could lip the name of JESUS .
GOD DIDNT FALL for my lie and he wont fall for anyone elses deceptoin either .
Pardon me for a second while l leap up and praise the LORD that HE did not allow me to continue in such a delusion
but rather LED and drew me to true FAITH in THE TRUE JESUS by which my desires were totally changed .
NOW IF GOD did that for one of the worst , HE can do it for anyone . Yet too many within the churches of today
are simply not preaching the true Christ , true sound bible doctrine , but rather
they feed the flesh of men . Let me show you a simple example .
Had i been as i once was , living in sin yet just saying the name of JESUS , DO YOU REALIZE
that most leaders of today , most folks in churches , WOULD NOT HAVE CORRECTED ME , RATHER THEY
would just leave me to do as i pleased thinking I WAS SAVED and FOLLOWED JESUS .
WELL THANK GOD HE DIDNT DO THAT FOR ME . HE FLIPPED ME AROUND. THUS i , by that same grace
am gonna remind folks of the truth . NO matter the cost to me .
ITS true my dear friend that many folks think me as nothing but a hater a monster and i have even been called
anti christ . But its also true it wont stop me from warning and reminding folks .
Just cause folks hate me , DONT MEAN i dont love them and am not gonna correct them .

Even when that price is their death . WELL HOW MUCH more should we warn those we love
to repent of the evil and follow CHRIST when the end of SIN is the SECOND DEATH my friend .
You need to seriously stop trying to reason things by the carnal mind and learn the TRUE LOVE that cometh of GOD .
TODAYS love allows kids to skate on thin ice and says HEY if they desire to do such a thing let them do so .
BUT THE LOVE OF GOD would CORRECT such children as it desires the death and destruction OF NONE .
HOW BOUT WE LEARN AGAPE LOVE and stop following the sensual love of men gone wrong .

@2ndRateMind Scripture is GOD's word. He who knows the end from the beginning and knows all the thoughts of men hasn't missed out on anything. His word trumps the thoughts and ways of mankind.....God's ways and thoughts are higher than ours. May I ask whether you have received Christ? His Spirit helps us to perceive and understand the things of God and His word.

I personally don't know if the torment is eternal, but certainly the wages of sin is death, whereas the gift of God in Christ Jesus is eternal life.

My theory, for what it's worth, is that we commit ourselves to heaven or hell. We can have the love of God, for all eternity, or we can live out our afterlives with hatred.

I’m sure our nature has inherited many complexities since the fall . Desire does not discriminate between straight, lesbian Bi homosexual and the pedophile, lustful desire does affect us all differently. There be some that categorise homosexuality and pedoophilia as the unforgivable sinI think homosexuality is wrong only because God/the bible says it's wrong and I think God made the the male/female anatomy differently for a reason, to show that it's wrong but other than that, I feel sorry for homosexuals to have to deal with something they can't control, it could be a chemical thing, but just like pedophiles can't control what they like, I feel sorry for that too because I think there are nice pedophiles who genuinely are attracted to children or teens but can't have them. I think there are also many nice homosexuals.perplexed

Speak for yourself. For my part, I am now too old for sexual shenanaghins. When I was married though, I was faithful. And I have never understood the reason why homosexuality is considered a sin. Perhaps you can explain?

To live one's afterlife with hatred sounds like it could be torment in itself. Well we can have all kinds of theories I guess, but at the end of the day we need the humility to bring all our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ and His word. His word says without holiness no one will see the Lord. God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts and theories.
Jesus is not a philosophy or theory as such, but a Person, and we need to seek Him and commit ourselves to Him and begin a living relationship with the Living God through Christ. He works a wonderful happy miracle in the heart and life of the one who comes to Him.

That one I can only speculate about, because we're not told the "Why?" of it. The Engineer designed the equipment to be used a certain way, and any usage outside the Manufacturer's intended parameters voids the warranty on the product.
The Biblical answer to the "Why?" question I ran into during a Bible study of Paul's letter to the Romans, Romans 1:18-32, and verses 21-28 in particular. These verses provide the context for what Paul says about homosexuality:
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened...28 Furthermore, just as they did not see fit to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to an unfit mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
We humans are a fallen mess, and our fallen-ness especially shows up in our sexuality. Not just men buggering other men and women going down on other women, but men using women as their personal sex toys and women selling their sexual services using sex to get what they want out of men and men using rape as a weapon to degrade women and men abusing children and men using sheep as a substitute and the whole multi-billion dollar pornography industry...
It wasn't meant to be this way. As a happily married man (with a wedding anniversary coming up this week!), I know what lovemaking can be in a loving and tender context. Why are we like this?
Paul's answer to the "Why?" is that homosexuality itself isn't the problem; it's only a symptom. Our problem starts with our ἀδόκιμος minds. (I retained Paul's play on words in the Greek in my translation above.) The problem started with Mankind's ancestral rejection of God and our idolatry, and we've ALL inherited unfit minds from Adam. And it's not just our sexuality; Romans 1:29-31 says our greed and depravity, our murder, our envy, our strife, our gossiping, our arrogance, our pride, our rebelliousness, all this stuff we deal with every day comes from our "second-rate minds". And it doesn't completely go away after we turn back to God, as the envy and strife and arrogance on this board all too clearly demonstrates.

Compare sexuality to the mandate to to have dominion over all the Earth. Yet, there are laws against animal abuse and those on the political Left use this as a basis for Earth day and 'saving the planet,' which implies we can use our power of dominion in ways inconsistent with our mandate. So it is with sexuality. It is very, VERY easy to understand why homosexuality is a sin for it is at the same level as murder. One acts takes a life. The other act fails to produce life.

This is not a reason, or a justification. It is just negative thinking without reason, or justification. In other words, prejudice. If I were in any way so inclined, I would be tempted to sleep with a man just so that, cometh the end of days, we should know which of us was right.
