What does it matter?
The Bible tells us to keep believing.
Would you confront the authors of the NT with these same questions?
YEP THERE IT IS . LOVELY REMINDERS . OH I JUST WISH FOLKS WOULD CONTINOUSLY READ THE BIBLE FOR THEMSELVES
Oh good grief. Seriously?
Do you utterly enjoy listening with only one ear?
Hey little believer....good for you that you believe. Hang on tight to your belief........
BECAUSE YOU ARE A sought after TARGET, for every evil spirit and wicked man Poised and Ready to tickle your ears that you run and jump on board with their devious underhanded schemes!
BUT HEY, if you be WILLING to OPEN both of your ears and HEAR the Offering God has Presented to you, for you.......IT’S A ONE TIME GIFT of absolute ASSURANCE you will NEVER Fall Away FROM Belief and Faith-FULL in the Lord God Almighty.
Don’t you GET IT......?
IF you were ASSURED your little toddler would not run out into the road and get killed by a car.......Would you still be holding on to their hand?
You say IN one respect ... you ARE saved... but then say YOU MUST keep holding on to your faith.......AS IF it can slip away...
Don’t reveal you have much FAITH IN God KEEPING you FAITHFUL....
YES THEY WOULD . truth is they will say OH IT CANNOT APPLY TO THE BORN AGAIN .
Rather odd indeed . cause the last time i checked i do believe the entire new testament DOES APPLY TO THE BELIEVER .
cling TO THE GLORIOUS LORD AND ALL REMINDERS HOLD FIRM TO THE END
When you are mature in knowledge of the sacred writings you don’t make unlearned comments like those…
“…avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.” (Titus 3:9)
That is correct--it is at that point that "believing" becomes "knowing" and "believing" no longer remains...just as the darkness is dispelled by the Light of Christ. Such is salvation. Not even believing?

Uh, hello.
The OLD creature IS DEAD.
A NEW creature IS BORN.
Are you trying to say...THE NEW BORN AGAIN CREATURE, is in DANGER of falling way FROM BELIEVING? FROM FAITH?
UTTER nonsense.
Check deeper. Here’s an example in the NT that DOES NOT APPLY TO THE BELIEVER.
John 5:
[38] And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
Neither verse omits the other . the sooner we realize this the better . Scrips are not to be used to disregaurd warnings and reminders .IF...Col 1:23
MADE ME...Rom 8:
[2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
IF...maybe
MADE ME....accomplished
But believing IS knowing:That is correct--it is at that point that "believing" becomes "knowing" and "believing" no longer remains...just as the darkness is dispelled by the Light of Christ. Such is salvation.
To hold fast to the word means hanging on to the truth.Hey little believer....good for you that you believe. Hang on tight to your belief.
How does hanging on to the truth make a person a target of deceitful men? It's apparent that the exact opposite is true. Hanging on to the truth protects one from the deceits of wicked men, not makes one vulnerable to them.BECAUSE YOU ARE A sought after TARGET, for every evil spirit and wicked man Poised and Ready to tickle your ears that you run and jump on board with their devious underhanded schemes!
This is a very poor analogy. 1 John 2:24, for example, makes it very clear that the proper analogy would be that the toddler must hold onto the hand of the Father so he won't be in danger of running out into the road and getting killed and forever separated from the Father.Don’t you GET IT......?
IF you were ASSURED your little toddler would not run out into the road and get killed by a car.......Would you still be holding on to their hand?
